How many of us actually justify our name? You..me...who??

But there was a man, who not only justified but also lived his name..!!

Today we are describing the biography of most valiant and brave king of Hindu Dynasty. Who is known as king of the kings, who found the mysterious and the big treasure of India, who is known as the brave son of India. He was the first warrior in the history of Indian Kingdom who got the teaching in blind fold archery. He was a legend who always respected Indian Culture, helped the weak and always ready to die for people of his kingdom and country. He was none other than Prithviraj Chauhan.

Yes, Prithviraj Chauhan : King of the World, as we know it, was one such person...!!

An indefatigable warrior, who grappled throughout his life: since birth till death.

A man who jeopardized the marauding intentions of Sultan Ghori to invade his motherland.

A man with a love story never seen or heard before.

A man who was an epitome of courage, bravery and a bulwark against his enemies.

Although Prithviraj Chauhan did not conquer many territories like other Indian rulers, he proved his ability as a soldier in the first battle of Tarrain.

Although Prithviraj Chauhan was defeated, he occupied unique place in Indian History. He is last great Hindu ruler who died a HERO's Death for defending the country from Turkish invaders.

Prithviraj Raso composed by Chand Bardai, has kept alive the memory of Great King who is also reffered as ''RAI PITHORA''.

His story highlights all the important aspects of life: Duty, Bravery, Patriotism, Friendship, Family and Romance..!!

With a bow and arrow in hand, aimmimg for the target on the words of his highly respectable and intellectual guru

"Arjun ki tarah dhyan keval laksh par hona chahiye,

Shatriye ka dharm hai buraai ka naash karna,

Satya ki sthapna karna, ek aise sammaj ki sthapna karna, jismein nyay ho, shanti ho

Iss kary ke raaste mein koi baadha bhi aaye to uska saamna karo,

Yuddh bhi karna pade to karo,

Antim saans tak yuddh karo"

With these words he released the bow and with eyes full of passion we got our PRITHVI!!

14th July marks the 8th Anniversary of Prithvi Day..!!

With the blessings of Lord Bhrahma and his people and family, he did what others failed to do...not only he proved himself as a valiant warrior at a tender age of 13, but made place in people's heart...!!

Life of PRC taught us 'N' number of things, the most important being

"One should never accept defeat before trying"

and

"Life is all about winning and loosing...where someone will bleed and someone will break"

He was a man who chose his responsibilities, his kingdom, his people pver his love because he knew that He is a king first and knew that he has certain responsibilities towards his people and no love, no relation is above our country...!!

He was not just a king..indeed he was People's King..!!

His love story...it's so famous and one of the most cherished one in Indian History.

Songs of his valour, bravery and romance are sung till today and will be sung till eternity...!!!

"Jo raja mitti pe raaj karte hai, vo mitti me mill jate hai
Par jo raja dillo me raaj karte hai, vo itihaas bnate hai"

He is one such ruler who is far above all..!! Way ahead!!

What he did for his country is unparalled!!

He proved "Chauhano ne kabhi harna nahi seekha..."

When you have such a big and important figure who was a HERO, an IDOL, an instituition in itself, you have to have it in you and all you need is THE BEST!!

To bring all these qualities of the Greatest ruler into existence after 814 years, a young 16 year old lad was roped in!

Many producers and directors, find an actor in an ordinary person but Sagar's...they found a KING in RAJAT TOKAS (lesser did they knew that soon he'll be the king of hearts of millions out there)

Promo was out...the very first promo...which said...

"Aakash ka hai ansh usme, aur dhra ka dhairya,

Beg hai usme vayu ka, aur lehro ka usme shaurya,

Surya se badhkar hai roshan uske mastak ka ye taaj

Dharam uska veerta hai, naam uska Prithviraj"

And this was it...!! Promo was out only to scream aloud to say...

" Here I am, all set to give new dimensions to Indian Television industry, whole new life to this genre..."

What could have been better than knowing and experiencing the fact that they kept their promise!!

Within days/weeks the show climbed high on TRP charts and attains special position in the viewer's soul and in the history of television! Such was the impact of Bal Prithiraj's aura on-screen!!

Rajat gave a whole new dimension and meaning to the show through his portrayal of Maharaj Prithviraj Chauhan!

Zillion thanks to him for not just portraying the character but LIVING it and reminding people about the greatest GEM of Indian history!

Thank you for giving us Prithvi and thank you for giving us love in the form of Sanyogita our very own Mugdha!!

For giving us world ki...umm no...UNIVERSE KI BEST..and most ROYAL JODI EVER!!Thank you for being our Prithviraj!!

No matter what you do, what you enact, your portrayal of PRC will always be super special because Prithviraj Chauhan gave us our RAJAT TOKAS!

At last a very special thanks to SAGAR ARTS for making PRITHVIRAJ CHAUHAN!!

Team Sagars impressed the audience with the profundity of their knowledge and as a result PRC is counted amongst the best historical shows ever with an honour of setting a new benchmark for shows of this genre.

Where saas-bahu sagas ruled PRC came and touched our souls and won hearts across the globe and propelled others to come forward and make shows in this genre.

Today when people remember the show, and the king, hey do it with respect and love!!

Rajat was simply splendid as Bal Prithviraj Chauhan, no one...

I repeat no one could have done justice to the role the way he did!!

Today we PRC'ians are happy to say that we are proud fans of the show PRC and RAJAT TOKAS!

Well, it's now time to have flashes of the past..and reliving some great memories..!!

Here you go...!!!

Prithvi: The student!

A teacher and student relation is one of the most purest form of relationship! Where a guru goes to all those extra lengths to teach or rather I should say to provide all that they have so that their disciple grows onto a learned person with a knowledge of what is right and wrong..!

Here we have two people...Guru Ram Purohit did everything to make his pupil grow and a student Prithvi who struggled to learn and endure all that he could from his guru...!!

Prithvi: The friend!

A friend is someone who understand us like our parents..sometime more than them! They are the ones with whom we can share all sorts of thing..our every sorrow, grief, happiness, strenght and weakness..! The are the ones who support us through thick and thin and are always there for us..!

But yes, we enjoy friendhip only when we have true friends..!

And Prithvi was so lucky to have such friends which made him grow as a friend himself..!!

And this quality also led him to make a new friend for his entire life in the form of Samar Singh..!! A relation which kick started as rivalry but ended with a beginning of a new friendship..!

Prithvi: The son!

Now, This is one thing I always look upon! Prithvi; a dutiful son, an obedient son and the one who understands his responsibilties towards his parents weather it is in accordance to his fathers need in the battle field or the love his mother has for him which is so tender and soft that makes him even more stronger and gives an urge to return to her arms wrapped in the glory of his victory..!!

Prithvi: The Brother!

A loving brother is the best thing that ever happens to a sister..! Well, like all his other roles he excelled in this as well..! A caring, protective and loving brother of adorable Pratha!

Prithvi: The warrior!

Do I even need to say anything more than this? Prithviraj Chauhan was true warrior in every sense..!

Gallant, indefatigable and known for his valour!

The man who rose, who fought, who crushed, git hurt yet emerged a winner everytime he had a sword in his hands! Be it in his last encounter with Ghori or first encounter with his guru!

He was the one who was born to rule and to win..!!

As it is said...''Ek Raja Ka Asli Gehna Uski Talwaar Hoti Hai, Jo Vo Apni Praja Ki Raksha Ke Liye Uthata Hai''

Prithvi: The lover!

Well, when we talk about him we definitely cannot miss his romantic side and all that he did for his lady love Sanyogita! His care, respect and emmence love for her made them immortal! People still remember their eternal love and respect the sacrifices they made for one another! The story which is regarded as one of the most romantic tales is today looked upon with respect and love!

Prithvi: The king!

Prithviraj Chauhan was one King who lived and died for his people! Who could go to any length to fulfill the needs of his people! Time and again he proved his and hence is remebered as One of the Greatest ruler of Indian History and The Greatest Rajput Ruler ever!
