I think raman doesn't want adi to stay with shagun so he will trap her n make it look like she did the accident..like she accused him earlier as abusive father n separated adi from him.. n she will end up jail then he will fight for adi's custody ..becoz he is seeing adi is a spoiled with shagun.. Adi really needs reformation...

A very interesting possibility . Agreed .

My point is dear , lawyers do everything outside the courtroom ,not in front of the judge .

@Underlined black - Umm again , google Oscar pistorius trial and see how they shout, get personal , re-create and do all sorts of theatrics - yes real life lawyers. When you are at it , google - O J simpson prob too. Or Judge Judy.

Another , nobody is denying the cinematic liberties. Just it is not the first time it is done,its's use is pretty generously in both desi shows or HW lots .

Personally I prefer to give a bit of creative leverage to the makers considering the way serials are made in India with all the strange song-sequences and other theatrics. This little court-room drama is still very sane.

Not talking of judge Judy , Indian sessions court to which i have been many times . Neither was i talking of personal preferences of viewers . I know this is Ekta show but i felt creative liberties should not make courtroom incredulous .

Kools, this whole case is bogus. The very reason it is fought on is filmsy. Can anyone imagine a father act in such a manner , would he knowingly go ahead with a court case which would bring the case back on focus . Or rather like any deranged parent, would he not make atleast one sensible attempt to convince his own family and an understanding wife to stop them filing the case ?

This has become more a case about his senseless stubbornness than anything.

Hence I don't look for much court proceedings, its just the conclusion that matters. A sensible movie like Jolly LLB had its own theatrics but it drilled a good point or to expect court scene authenticity where the famous Sunny Deol dialogue "Tareeq Pe Tareeq " is considered some sort of landmark., is asking too much

As I said highly acclaimed serials like Boston Legal, TGW all have used drama and overt emotions. So i won't hold Ekta for doing the same for a daily serial which is made to cater an overtly emotional audience . She has a job to sell emotions and make money.

Another point , more than the case proceedings , its the changing dynamics of the relationships which Ekta and her team are trying to focus. Let us see how that plays out.It's not a legal drama where the courtroom holds the fort and should be by-the book.

Agreed .

Someone has made a point about how Raman is playing this game to get back at Shagun who proved him an abuser and to take Adi away from her as he is genuinely worried about Adi's downfall . I think thats a possibility . It makes perfect sense with the sudden characterization .
