My concern was that one person in the household is expected to cover herself from top to bottom and the rest of them get a free hand to wear what they want, be it jeans, transparent sarees or anything else.
We do not know for sure that it is Kasturi's choice to only wear salwar kameez. From her family member's behaviour I figured that they also had a say in the way her dresses.
