I can't justify this in anyway.. Yes, that he and his wife have differences but if he wants to start another relationship then he should have the spine to be honest with his current wife!

Right now I don't care about NAs rules. What I am frustrated over is that he is spineless and isn't honest with his current wife. Tell her that you want to end their relationship as he have lost feelings for her. That he wants to be with someone else. Just tell her so she can decide if she want to rebell NAs rules by divorcing or if she wants to keep their relationship for names sake for Kavya.
But he have to tell her about what he is upto.

Excellent, excellent post! I'm very pleased that people are not being duped by the writers into hating Sojal and forgiving Varad for his affair. His affair is wrong. Period.

What I would hate to see in the serial is Kavya supporting Varad in his affair either because she agrees in her faux-cutesy way that Varad deserves better than her mother or because "Mansi Aunty" is so nice that she's clearly better than the woman who gave birth to her. I would hate, hate, HATE a track like that.

This show has time and time again demeaned Sojal as a mother, a wife, and a bhabhi. First Aastha creates barriers between her and her daughter. Now Mansi too?

It's high time Sojal's character gets some redemption and I'm hoping it's through this track. What I want to see is a reawakening. I want Sojal to break down, reevaluate what's truly important to her, and then start building a new identity from the ground up.

Completely agree with you . Every person have shortcomings and if your wife has it that does not give you right to cheat her .Varad😡 heights of double standards.Sojal has some insecurities so she react that way. What did Varad as husband did to erase Sojal's insecurities. He should speak with her and try to sort out the issue .But Varad chose to have affair . He did not think about his daughter .That daughter who loves her dad .He always scold Sojal for not taking care of Kavya. What did he do. He could have reduce his work load spend time with Kavya and teach her. Why always mom has to take care of their children .Dad also have equal role .I might hated Sojal before. But she does not deserve this. First Varad be a man and talk to her wife. Sojal after finding out Varad's affair she should re-discover herself and stand on her own leg for her daughter. She should not forgive Varad.
I also want Aastha N Shlok to adopt Kavya. She will have a better life with the persons who love her and care for her.

IKEAwizard - Thank you! I agree. Kavya should not support Varad. I would also hate that track. It would be so wrong, I mean a daughter should love the person who gave birth to her. Sojal wants good stuff for her daughter, the problem is that she is not allowed to do anything for her. She have become this person who ignores her daughter due to the fact that she have been taught that daughters are not worth anything in that household. She doesn't even have the right to choose anything for Kavya. Yes, really high time that Sojal see her priorities and stands on her feet.

VIMAL.M - Exactly! I agree! I don't like the fact that he tries to show everyone about how good he is and how bad Sojal is when the fact is that he is a cheating husband who never have time for his family. He should at least give time to his daughter! What I don't understand is that why he can't stand up for his daughter in front of his dad and mom? He should do that instead of telling Sojal to change and try to change rules. I agree!

Absolutely agree. Varad is one of the weakest characters right now. He's actually very similar to Niranjan the way he *appears* very fair and just, but in actuality lets his wife and daughter be demeaned by others in the household. He never does anything on his own. Aastha always has to tell him to do stuff and then he gets mad at Sojal for not thinking about it. Hello? You didn't think about it, either, Varad! You needed Aastha's help you loser.

Totally agree with your post.. Varad and Kaka were the only 2 Agrihotri men I really liked,, ( I have to be honest... Shlok ticks me off too) ,, but let's just say,, I only like Kaka.. until... The Agrihotri men is giving men on the whole a bad name... First - there's BB forcing his paramparas on everyone and abusing his wife behind closed door while portraying a respectable human being to society... then Precious- totally in love with BB and will got to any lengths to keep his BB dignity intact.. including manhandling his wife,,,, now Varad.. who I had some hope for,, just flushed it down the toilet.. with his double standards.. his halo went flying when his cheating surfaced.. OMg... the Agrihotri men are little piggies... I am waiting to see what Kaka comes with. 😡
