Its very confusing. I thought he would be negative as well but the way he spoke to Ba about how he can't marry Disha despite all the wealth Ba would give him showed he has good values and does not care for money and does not want to marry her because he would never love her. Or maybe he was trying to create a deeper hatred for Ishaani in front of everyone and getting his revenge? It is very confusing. I hope soon we get to find out if he is a good character or a bad one.
