II3 promise & definition of Indian Idol

So, do the words hold anymore?
Is the show really no longer about X Factor?
Will the next Idol aka 'Bharat Ki Shaan' be a versatile & talented singer capable of singing 'any kind of song' well?

When asked if the X-factor will still be a big criteria for choosing the winner, he adds, "The focus will be on the voice. We already have Fame X that takes care of the X factor." Indian Idol 3 is expected to go on air in the first week of June.

They are definitely not following this - if that would have been the case then definitely on any day Amit and Bhavin are better singers than Parleen and Abhishek - though definitely I would agree that Parleen has X factor but as he a singer he is quite average and abhivshek is more a performer than a singer.

there are some singers this year who have proved to be versatile...like emon deepali charu, abhishek, smita...whereas others like chang, parleen, prashant still need to work on their song choices, they dont seem to be as versatile, parleen even said it himself that he wont be able to sing a classical number...but they are still good singers
i like the top 10 this year, lets see if the wildcard winners make it better 😛
