She says, "It is not that I had completely vanished from TV or films. It's just that nothing worthwhile was happening in films." But her career seems to be picking up now. Anita, who is currently doing a Punjabi film, will soon be seen as a vampire in a new show, Fanaah.

We ask the actress if she is getting slotted into vampish roles and she says, "As long as they are roles of substance, I don't mind. And playing a vampire is different from portraying a regular negative role on TV. Let's say I have got luckier after marriage." Anita who got married recently feels that her professional life improved to a great extent after her marriage.
She said, "My work is appreciated, I am getting good offers. Honestly, we are both doing well professionally. My husband has also been busy with work and so have I. My roles are appreciated. And for the first time I dubbed for my Punjabi film too. I think that generally a woman brings in luck for her husband after marriage but in my case my husband is lucky for me."
