There will not be any confrontation now. It is for later, also I doubt whether Dev will know who tried to kill him.

I mean the truck driver is dead( I guess it is to ensure killer is not reached the driver is dead, else Dev and Gautham have seen him directly, if they escape and the driver too escape they will file complaint to police and he can be caught), Dev wont think directly that Shaurya was behind it as he as of now doesnt believe his brother can stoop so low.

Also the attack happened in name of Payal, so to deflect on Durga at this point is useless, Dev wont connect that.

Also the driver wanted Gautham to come. So the attack was on Gautham too.

Most probably his suspicion will reflect on RTI files taken by Sonali and since many high profile witnesses were there in the case any of them could have tried to harm them.

That includes the minister who is Karan's father.
