Yes, it can happen, if they have to save Soham from going to jail after 20 years, they will bring back Gauri with some one (may be with Amnesia) and the one who saved her would have married her and she must be having few kids.

In the same way as Deshmukhs thought Soham was dead. So if Soham can survive there can be chances of even Gauri living. Lets see what unfolds on us.

In Ekta kapoor's serial every thing is possible . so there may be chance gauri being alive just 0.1%lets hope she is alive . It will be very intresting if she is alive .
