Even as I know the saying silence is gold...but too much silence can be so taxing/detrimental.
I don't understand why urmi is so silent with the entire family pouring the pressure on her, she did not open her mouth to say as to how is she feeling- especially to her dad and grandmom...who have the same blood running.
she could tell them off for not supporting her...When her dad said that he will assume that urmi is dead for him, she could have said that even now she is as good as dead for him...else he would have understood her plight.

whats the point in wasting energy on such people? there is none. if her battered bruised body wasnt enough for them to eympathize with her, her words would mean even less.

Even though her family members may have ignored her I felt that she needed to speak up. I wanted her to at least try speaking up for herself. Too bad that didn't happen. And Urmi's father is too much, he isn't ready to listen to Urmi at all. He acts like Samrat is his son and Urmi is his daughter-in-law, serious problems.😡 Urmi's family members don't LET her speak.
And then I'm not surprised that her father keeps shushing her. He keeps shushing Urmi's mother all the time so what can he do for his daughter...😡

Its just some people's way of calming down. I know I am the same way. Taxing or not, I know it helps me calm down. Also, sometimes things are so obvious we expect people and especially our dear ones to understand without having to explain. Besides, I don't think words can have any impact on Urmi's father. I mean if he can not see her wounded body and face and her crestfallen spirit then what word can change his ill mind. I sincerely hope that in the real world, no girl gets a father like this!

I still cannot understand for the life of me WHY Urmi allows the idiotic family to pressure her?

Tauji was a hope that has turned HOPELESS. I could not believe when he said to Urmi and Samrat that they both had made mistakes. Can he bother explaining what was Urmi's mistake? She took Shashi's permission to go to dance class, hid it from the Rat on Shashi & Tauji's insistance, played games with the Rat that was directed by Tauji.

Samrat's dad, the most useless husband, father and father-in-law, has no backbone (even an ant is braver)

Samrat's mom, the evil witch, incarnation of shedevil and a puppy dog of her favorite rich son

Aditi, changes like a girgit

Urmi's dad, a male version of Shashi, competing with her on who licks Samrat better

Urmi's grandma, with a 500 year old brain

Urmi's mom, a perfect role model for Urmi (thet both take crap from their hubbies)

Urmi's brother, right thinking but all talk no action (could have made sure Urmi does not get into the pressure from idiots and made sure the Rat does not leave the prison)

Urmi's sister, what has she really done for Urmi or Trisha?

Finally, the Rat, the man has nerves to come home from the prison and bark at his wife and none of his family attempting to glue his big mouth for good

I would love to see Urmi move in with Trisha and make sure Rat gets more than he deserves

I agree Tauji is the wellwisher of Urmi, but he also knows that Samrat looks up to him and Samrat would not want to lose Tauji in his life. I think Tauji's approval means a lot to Samrat and he knows that. I think if Tauji showed his disappointment in Samrat it would matter to Samrat. Having said that, if Tauji were to show his anger and disgust of Samrat's beatings to Urmi, Samrat would be affected. Tauji is the only person whose hatred would matter to Samrat.

So, I do not understand why Tauji has to hide his support to Urmi in front of Samrat, especially now. I would have expected Tauji to slap Samrat after seeing what a beast he was beating Urmi like that. I am sure Samrat would not have dared to threaten Urmi again. He shot his mouth by saying that the beating was not enough and the family just kept quiet. I expected Tauji to react angrily and he did not.
