Note: Please forgive any mistakes I make in naming characters or places from TMKOC. I don't watch the show so I don't really know all these things.
Abhijeet is on the phone wondering where Daya (CID) is as he's not picking up his phone or calling them. Freddy asks what information do we need. Abhijeet says it's a secret as there is a danger over CID and Daya (CID) has gone to find out what has happened. He wonders where Daya (CID) is and Daya (TMKOC) enters saying Daya is here. (Ah so they repeat the last 15 minutes of TMKOC here first.) Daya (CID) enters as well and then confusion prevails as Dayaben explains that she is Daya. (From now on I'll call TMKOC wali Daya Dayaben to avoid having to put the show name in brackets each time I mention Daya. đ) Shreya recognizes her as Dayaben from Gokuldam Society. Freddy tells her she has come to the wrong place, but Dayaben says she came to the right place and pulls out the wallet and reads the name ACP Prama. Abhijeet recognizes it and takes it from her. He looks at the card and it reads ACP Pradyuman Income Tax Department. Sachin wonders how ACP Pradyuman didn't find out that the wallet was stolen. Abhijeet says because the ID is fake. Dayaben is surprised. Abhijeet asks where she found it. Dayaben tries to explain where and Abhijeet with a surprised look tells Sachin to go find out about it. (Aditya sir's expressions were hilarious! đ€Ł) Daya comes over and says ACP sir isn't answering the phone. Abhijeet tells Daya to call Kavin who says ACP sir is fine. Abhijeet thanks Dayaben. Dayaben is about to leave, but Daya says hasn't anyone smelled the food. Pankaj agrees saying it's homemade food and he and Freddy follow the smell to the huge basket of food that Dayaben left outside. The officers asks to eat the food as they haven't had homemade food in a while and Dayaben finally agrees. The officers all enjoy the food as Dayaben wonders what to feed Jethalal. (Okay the scene was okay all the way to this part. I could never imagine the officers doing that. đ€) They praise Dayaben's food who tells them she was taking it for Jethalal. They feel bad, but she says she enjoyed feeding them more than they enjoyed eating it.
At the conference site ACP sir is waiting for someone. He sits down at the conference table and opens the bottle spilling the water. He takes a sip and keeps looking at his watch. Meanwhile Kavin is walking down the hallway. ACP sir suddenly starts feeling shortness of breath and then collapses. Kavin comes in to find ACP sir missing from the conference room. He dials ACP sir's number, but it isn't working. (I must say the conference room and hotel were rather nice. What type of conference is this that ACP sir and Kavin go to but no one else goes to?)
Sachin, Purvi, and Nikhil reach the spot where Dayaben had found the wallet. (Ah so they did find the spot after all. đ) Nikhil talks to a shop owner who says he did see a man searching for his wallet. He adds that he was hit by a bike and taken to the hospital. The 3 reach the hospital and inquire about the man. As they are walking towards the man's room, a ward boy runs out yelling murder. The 3 enter to find the patient dead and a nurse unconscious. Sachin asks if they saw anyone leaving, but no one saw anything. The receptionist has gotten the exits all sealed. The 3 question the nurse who says that she saw a man arguing with the patient and yelling at him for losing the wallet. The man also said that they wouldn't leave the lady and would finish the job by 2 PM today. (Err how did the man and the patient find out about the lady with the wallet? I thought they had been inquiring about it because they didn't know where it was. đ) Sachin wonders if the lady is Dayaben.
Back in the bureau, Daya tells Abhijeet that the man who had the wallet is dead and Dayaben's life could be in danger. Dayaben is leaving at this time. Abhijeet stops her and tells her that her life is in danger. Dayaben asks why. Daya asks for Jethalal's number, but Dayaben refuses saying he'll get shocked. Shreya takes her away. Abhijeet tells Pankaj to find out about all the people who make fake IDs. Freddy wonders why the fake ID was made. Abhijeet says they're going to make a fake ACP as well. (Why didn't either of them mention Rocky? Did FW have a memory loss or something? đ€)
Elsewhere ACP sir is taken in on a stretcher to an operation theatre of some kind to a doctor who says this is the real ACP and he wants his fake ACP. The doctor says fearfully that he'll get his fake ACP soon. (Behrupiya repeats.)
Dhenchu is being sent into a room for a fake ID maker by Sachin. He enters and is left shocked. He quickly opens the door. Dhenchu points Sachin and Kavin to the body that he saw on the ground. (Oh for god's sake. Dhenchu was looking up not down. At least get your direction straight FW! Oh and I thought Kavin was at the conference site. So how did he suddenly get here?) Kavin says he was shot and killed. Sachin sends the background officer to check the surrounding area. Kavin finds many photos of ACP sir, which he shows Sachin. The background cop, Mayur, finds another body, who is alive. Dhenchu recognizes him as the assistant.
Back at the operation theatre, the fake ACP's face is revealed. (Umm it's kind of obvious that the fake ACP's face will look like the real ACP's face. There's no need to reveal it like that. đ€) The man with the mask tells the doctor to remove the skin and the marks. The fake ACP doesn't say anything.
In the bureau, Dayaben is teaching Pankaj, Freddy, Shreya, and the background officer how to do garba. Gujarati music plays in the background. (I'm sorry to say this, but this is CID, not a dance show. I don't mind the integration, but I mind when things like this happens. đ€)
In the interrogation room, the duo, Purvi, and Sachin question the assistant who says he doesn't know anything. Daya slaps him. (The assistant is being played by the actor who is a regular in Crime Patrol. He's a good actor. đ)
The garba practice continues in the bureau. Dayaben tells them to stop and shows them again. Freddy and Pankaj finally collapse. (Okay I was really enjoying Pankaj and Freddy, but not Shreya and the background officer. đ)
In the interrogation room, Daya picks the assistant up. He says he doesn't know the name but remembers the face. (Thank god he didn't start crying like all the criminals do. đ)
The garba dance continues when ACP sir enters the bureau. (Err is it the fake ACP or the real one? I'll say fake. ) The officers stop, but Dayaben is having too much fun. Shreya calls her name and Dayaben stops on seeing ACP Pradyuman. He asks the others who she is when the duo come out from the interrogation room. Abhijeet says we've been trying your phone for so long and it wasn't connecting. ACP sir checks his phone. The duo look at ACP sir with a thoughtful look. (It's almost as if they know something is amiss.) Purvi and Sachin are watching as the sketch artist is making the sketch based on the assistant's description. Meanwhile the duo tell ACP sir about the fake IDs and the assistant. The sketch is given to Sachin who brings it out and shows ACP sir. The sketch is Jethalal's. Dayaben recognizes her husband and says that he can never do this. ACP sir says he has done something and tells them to get him.
Sachin and Freddy reach Jethalal's shop. Freddy tells him to come to the CID bureau. He asks what has he done. Sachin says nothing to worry about. ACP sir just wants to gift the staff mobile phones. (Good tactic. Gets someone to come along without any problems.)
Jethalal reaches the CID bureau as he is talking about mobiles. Sachin says to stop this talk as no one wants to buy a mobile. Jethalal gets confused when the rest of the team also come out. Then he recognizes the smell of Dayaben's food and calls his wife. The duo, Freddy, and Sachin watch with amused looks. Pankaj quickly stands in front of the tiffin that Dayaben had brought with her. (Yeah the scene is quite interesting, but again I don't like seeing this in CID.) Jethalal thinks someone stole the tiffin from Dayaben and says he wants to write a complaint that someone stole the tiffin. Abhijeet asks seriously why did he make a fake ID of ACP sir. Jethalal gets confused and says he doesn't understand anything. Abhijeet says that one hand of Daya's will make you remember everything and Jethalal thinks Abhijeet is talking about his Daya. Abhijeet says he's talking about their Daya. (Again confusion because of the names. Okay the joke is good one time, but don't repeat it. đ„±) Jethalal repeats he didn't make any fake ID. Abhijeet shows him the sketch and Jethalal praises the sketch artist. Abhijeet says that a criminal got this sketch made. Jethalal repeats he didn't do this. Abhijeet says we'll find out. Daya gets a call about Jethalal. He says that Jethalal's record is clean. Abhijeet is leading him out and mentions the food. He quickly clears it before Jethalal can suspect anything. (Abhijeet would never make this type of mistake! Come on FW. I know you're trying to integrate TMKOC and it's a good attempt, but at least don't ruin the CID characters like this!) Jethalal leaves. Abhijeet tells Freddy and Pankaj to bring the assistant out. ACP sir's phone rings at this time and he says he's coming. He leaves without saying anything. The duo exchange the thoughtful glances again.
ACP sir enters an area where there is a lot of security guards. He walks into Sanjay's office from the Anti-Narcotics Department. He says that they are going to catch a big drug gang and that's why they need the drug consignment. (Ah so that's why they made this fake ACP.) Sanjay leaves to get the drug consignment as the fake ACP laughs diabolically.
The assistant is questioned about Jethalal. Dayaben comes in and gets angry. Shreya speaks in Gujarati and Dayaben is pleased. The assistant says Jethalal isn't at fault and his neighbour has Jethalal's photo with lots of nails and dots.
Back on the road, the fake ACP is in a car followed by the drugs in a van. He asks where to take it. The plan has changed and there is a new plan. Suddenly the car and van are blocked by 8 men on bikes. They say that the van is their's and tells ACP sir to move, but he stands there watching them. Two men get off and take his gun and are heading towards the van when the 2 guards knock the men down. There is a gunfight between the 8 goods and the 3 guards. The guards are killed and ACP sir is also shot. The men make away with the van and their bikes. (Err I'm confused again. If this ACP is fake why did they get into a gun fight and then kill the fake ACP?)
In an under construction building, the goons take the drugs out and the fake ACP reaches there with the fake bullet shot. (Ah so the bullet was fake.) They open the packets to find face powder. They are confused when Daya, Nikhil, Purvi, and Mayur make their entry. A gunfight and fistfight ensues. (The action was good I must say.) Purvi is taken as hostage by Sanjay from the narcotics department. The other officers come out as well. The officers are now shocked to see ACP sir and Sanjay reveals he is his ACP not theirs. Sanjay wonders who was behind the drugs changing. ACP says he was behind it and that's because he's the real ACP not the fake one. As he says this he grabs Sanjay's gun and the other officers also take over. Daya slaps Sanjay.
Sanjay asks how this happened. ACP goes into flashback to show him waking up and checking the other man's face who doesn't have ACP sir's face. Then they show him on the road waking up the guards who remove their bulletproof vests. Daya says as soon as ACP sir found out about their plan he told them. ACP sir delivers the final phansi dialogue.
Back at the bureau, the trio and Freddy are praising Dayaben. Dayaben says that the case isn't over yet. The trio look at her in confusion.
