Is it just me or does anyone else who happen to watch Game of Thrones find Sakshi's and Shurya's mother son relationship similar to the dastardly duo of Joffrey and Cersei?
Both Cersei and Sakshi turn a blind eye to the fact that their sons are abusive sociopaths, and are willing to go cross any boundaries to indulge their every whim.
Also both women have a severe lack of empathy, and suffer from monstrous ego's; traits which they also allow their sons to indulge in.
In GOT of thrones Cersei only cares about her family i.e her children and lover/brother Jaime and the rest of the world can burn. She also uses her wealth and power to destroy all those that cross her.
Which again is similar to Sakshi in EHT.
When Joffrey in season one got thrashed by Ayra; Cersei told him that when he was King he could tell whatever story he liked as history was wrote by the winners; and they could peddle whatever BS they wanted as the truth. Later when they have Robb butchered she is pleased when he mocks his death with lies about his own false bravery.
Again in EHT Sakshi ensured by rigging Shurya's trial he would be seen as the victim and that Payel and her family are seen as the villains.
Also Joffrey like Shurya uses his position of wealth and power to abuse people namely Sansa and even threatened her with rape on her wedding night.
Even more telling though whenever he is struck down or put in his place Joffrey uses his mother's name to threaten people as he knows she will strike down anyone who even dares to harm him.
TBH I wouldn't mind EHT showing a similar end to the mother/son duo as GOT did. Like Cersei it would destroy Sakshi to have her vile offspring die in extreme agony in her arms; knowing despite all her wealth and power she is helpless to save him.
So let me know people am I completely off point and alone in thinking this or do you think that there are some similarities?!
