When Riddhima didn't answer, Armaan call her name to bring her out from her lala land... Riddhima who was staring at Armaan hand, move her gaze towards Armaan face...
'Friendsss???' Armaan asked again...
'No...' Riddhima said...
Armaan smile fades from his face when Riddhima turn his friendship down... Both were staring at each other as their eyes met, Riddhima saw how Armaan face color change while Armaan was busy thinking why Riddhima turn his friendship down...
Next moment Riddhima started to laugh as Armaan break the eye lock looking down at his hands... But hearing Riddhima laugh, his head shot up looking towards her not understand why she was laughing and what was funny... Armaan was lost in Riddhima laughing as she hides her mouth while her cheeks were turning red... For a minute Armaan was lot in her, admiring how beautiful she was looking while laughing...
Riddhima who was busy laughing control her laughter seeing Armaan watching her without blinking his eyes... Seeing Riddhima controlling her laugh, Armaan asked what through his eyes as his one brow was up... Riddhima shake her head as nothing but when Armaan frown she ask him to wait from her hand as she control her laughter...
Armaan thought Riddhima would be telling him what was so funny but again she brush out laughing turning her face away from him... Armaan frown got deep seeing Riddhima laughing and not telling the reason...
'What Riddhima...' Armaan asked in a serious voice...
'Woh... Tumhara face... Its look... So Funny...' Riddhima said in between her laughter...
When at last Armaan got to know the reason why Riddhima was laughing on him, his mouth was left open because a while ago they were sad and crying but now, Riddhima was laughing as nothing has happen...
'I m sorry... but... U really look funny Armaan...' Riddhima said turning to face him as she control her laugh...
'Yeah Maybe but... Why did u just turn down the friendship... U know I m heartbroken as no girls ever say no to be friends with a charming guy like me...' Armaan said with a naughty grin...

Now it was Armaan turn to do chuck it so he just stood up checking the time not giving any attention to Riddhima who sit with her hand out for him to make friends... Seeing Armaan action, Riddhima mouth hang open and stood up when she saw Armaan try to move pass her...
Armaan was watching Riddhima expression from the corner of his eyes and he was trying to hold back the smile, which was trying to sneak on his face... Riddhima close her mouth as she fold her hands on her chest... Seeing Riddhima look away from him, Armaan smile and move back to where he was standing facing Riddhima...
'So what u thinks, only u can act Ms.Gupta...' Armaan asked with a cheesy smile on his face...
'It was rude Armaan...' Riddhima said with a frown...
'Really now... And what about when u say no and then laugh at me on my expression...' Armaan asked with a grin on his face...
'Because I wanted to make the atmosphere light... It was...' Riddhima stop not wanting to bring all that happen a while ago...
Armaan understood what Riddhima means and somewhere deep down in his heart, he felt nice to know that there is someone who cares about him and his happiness... She was just trying to be friendly and make things not awkward between them...
Armaan forward his hand without saying another word and Riddhima accept it knowing it would be better not to do any more acting because they were making this awkward between them trying to make fun of each other expression...
'I hope we would be good friend forever...' Armaan said quietly...

Gang were present while Riddhima and Armaan were the only people who was missing... Abhay was sitting on Piya side while Rahul were sitting on his other side with Muskaan next to her... Everyone was quitely having their lunch while Piya refused to eat anything...
Feeling the tension, Anjali asked Muskaan what happen who just shake her head saying nothing... But Anjali knows something was bothering them as they had been very quiet the whole and and Armaan being missing because usually he always joins them with lunch...
Nikki who just joins them sit with her head on the table trying to relax her muscle which was paining due to all the running around the childrens ward... She had been having a rough time controlling the kids alone with nurses who weren't a very good help... Nikki didn't understand where Riddhima suddenly disappear...
'Niks, u seems very tired...' Anjali asked when she saw Nikki just sitting with her head on the table...
'Yeah, was in children wards... Where is Ridzy...' Nikki asked...
'Uski duty toh tumhari saat ti na...' Abhi asked as he ate his lunch...

Pata nehi achanak kaha gayab hogayi ti... Kaha woh kuch file lene locker room jaa rahi hai but uske baad toh maine Ridzy koh dekhna nehi...' Nikki said looking around hoping to catch Riddhima somewhere around...

'Haan, maybe kuch kaam aagaya hoga... Anyways where is Armaan...' Nikki asked looking at Muskaan and Rahul...
'Pata nehi, woh bhi kaam main busy hoga...' Muskaan said with a small smile...
'Guess they r not working anymore... Here they come...' Atul said as they turn their face towards the entrance to see Armaan and Riddhima coming...
They were little surprise to see Armaan and Riddhima smiling over something they were talking... Muskaan, Rahul and Piya breath relief seeing Armaan mood was better then they expected on this day... They were glad that Armaan was trying not to hide himself whole day from them...
'Hey guys...' Armaan greeted them as he and Riddhima reach them, Riddhima immidiately took the seat next to Anjali were else Armaan was standing in between Piya and Rahul holding the chair as he bend towards the table...
'Hey...' They reply as they look at Armaan and them Riddhima...
Seeing they were giving them suspense look, Armaan wink at Riddhima knowing they must be wondering what was going on between them... Armaan wink didn't go unnotice by Nikki who was watching them closely and Nikki make a note to get hold of Riddhima when they got alone...
'Piya, why arn't u having anything...' Armaan ask touching her back...
Piya look at him and Armaan look closely to her face and saw her eyes were fluffy and red... Armaan look at Rahul and Muskaan to see they weren't eating either... Neither of them look at him as they didn't meet their gaze with him...
Samrat excuse himself asking if anyone needs anything... Armaan asked him to bring sandwich for Piya, Pasta for Rahul and Muskaan... Samrat was glad that first time Armaan ask him to do anything and he left while Armaan sit on his knee near Piya holding her hand while his other hand was on the chair...
Others quitely continue their lunch letting Armaan talk to Piya knowing it must be something personal and Abhay who was sitting next to Piya try not to listen to the conversation which was going to take in between them...
'What happen baby...' Armaan ask softly so only Piya could hear...
Piya shake her head not looking at Armaan as nothing happen but when she didn't look at him, Armaan understand she must be freak out to know he had gone missing like always...
'Baby, I know u must be worried for me...
See, I m here na... Please don't be sad okey...' Armaan said bending down to look at Piya eyes who has those tears form in her eyes...
'I was... Just worried...' Piya said trying not to break down knowing everyone was around them...
Armaan move his hand up to her face cupping her one cheek and caring it softly... Armaan knows Piya must have been very worried for him because he loves him a lot... Armaan whisper a slow 'Sorry...' and Piya look at him trying to smile and not letting the tears fall from her eyes... Armaan blink his eyes saying he was fine and hugs her before he stood up...
Abhay stood up letting Armaan take the seat next to Piya and Abhay sit next to Gunjan, where Samrat had been sitting a while ago... Armaan started to talk Rahul and Muskaan as Anjali were talking to Abhi, Nikki was just listening to them and Riddhima was watching how Armaan was handling Piya with a smile on her lips... Nikki had been looking at Riddhima trying to understand what was happening between her and Armaan...
Gunjan and Abhay were talking, and Gunjan excuse herself saying she would be back...
Samrat who went to give the order for his food and others, was waiting for the waiter to give him his order... He asked the waiter make the sandwich first as it was needed urgently... Samrat was tapping on the counter while Gunjan came there asking for a sandwich...
When the waiter gave first sandwich, Samrat was thinking something... Gunjan look at him with suspense look when he didn't move and Samrat turn to Gunjan with a smile...
'Aise kya dekh rahe ho tum...' Samrat asked...
'Sandwich milgaye hai toh jaakhar beito na...' Gunjan said..
'Haan woh abhi Pasta nehi mila na toh main wait kar raha hoon... Waise if u want u can take this one...
Jo tumne order di woh main le lunga... We order same kind of sandwich na...' Samrat said...
'Are u sure...' Gunjan asked...
'Yeah, no problem...' Samrat said with a big smile...
Gunjan was standing look at Samrat as he had been being so nice with her all of sudden... Before he never act like this and Gunjan was thinking maybe he was up to something...
'Kiya huva...' Samrat asked...
'Kuch nehi, r u sure...' Gunjan asked again...
'Yeah I m sure Gunj... Go I will just joins you in a while...' Samrat said...
Gunjan leave being in two thoughts and Samrat make sure Gunjan left and turn around to the waiter who place another sandwich in fornt of him... Samrat smile thanking the waiter asking him to bring the pasta over their table...
When Samrat came to he saw that Piya was already eating Sandwich, Samrat look at Gunjan who was chatting with Abhay and he was wondering why she had given her sandwich to Piya...
'Gunj, tumne apni sandwich Piya koh de diya... Main uske liyeh sandwich laya hoon na..' Samrat said...
'Koi baat nehi Sammy, main apne liyeh phirse mangwalungi...' Gunjan said with a smile...
'Ek kaam karo tum yeh wala lo, I will get another one for me...' Samrat said...
'Sammy, tum beito... Main aati hoon...I wanted to get something else too...' Gunjan said...
When Gunjan left, Abhay look at Samrat with suspense look as he was looking towards Piya who was eating with a small smile... When Abhay saw Samrat expression change, he understood something was going on his mind...
'Whats up Buddy.. Aise Piya koh kyun dekh rahe ho...' Abhay whisper to Samrat so no one could hear them...
'Arey kuch nehi Buddy... Woh main dekh raha hoon, Piya tik hai ya nehi...' Samrat said...
'Kyun...' Abhay asked...
'Kyunki woh abhi sad ti na issiliyeh...' Samrat said...
While Samrat was busy talking to Gunjan, Gunjan came and sit next to him... She smile as she push the plate towards Samrat which he gave her as she place the plate which she just bring with her... When Abhay look at Gunjan, Samrat also turn to look at her...
Gunjan pointed to the sandwcih as she started to eat hers... Samrat was watching while Gunjan as she started to make a conversation with Nikki... Seeing Samrat not eating, Abhay asked what happen... Shaking his head, Samrat took the sandwich taking the first bite...
Next moment, Samrat was screaming as if he had burn his mouth and coughing too... Abhay rubbed his back while Gunjan went to bring water to him... Everyone was staring at him not understand why he scream suddenly...
Gunjan came with water and she was trying to control her laugh... Others were still not understanding what was happening and Samrat gave deadly look to Gunjan who at last brushout laughing...
'It was not really funny Gunjan...' Samrat said...
'So sorry Sammy... But kiya kare, mujhe toh pehle se hi shak ta jab tumne mujhse itni acche se baat ki toh kuch toh chal raha ta tumhara dhimag main... Accha huva maine dekhliya tumne Piya ke sandwich pe mirchi daalte huve... Issiliyeh maine woh jo maine pehle laayi woh sandwich Piya koh de diya...' Gunjan said...
'Lekin jo maine tumhe di, usmain mirchi ti na toh jo tum laayi, us main kyun hai...' Sammy asked...
'Kyunki Mr. not so smart Sammy, maine plate exchange ki ti jab tum Abhay se baat kar raha ta...' Gunjan said and this time everyone else also brush out laughing hearing how Samrat plan back fire on him...
'Sammy, tumne sach main...' Piya said laughing...
'Haan haan toh kiya huva isbaar plan back fire huva toh... Har baar tohdina hoga...' Samrat said...
'Don't even dare to... Kyunki tum humse zyada smart nehi ho...' Gunjan said...
'Really...' Samrat asked moving close to Gunjan...
'Really...' Gunjan said as she stood with her hands on hips...
'Okey Doctors, times up...
Move back to ur duties...' Armaan said as they control their laugh...
Samrat gave Piya and Gunjan deadly glare as Piya move towards Gunjan hi5ing and thanking for making Samrat plan back fire on him... Abhay patted Samrat back asking to move on as he left with their Senior doctors... Piya and Gunjan gave Samrat a proud look as if saying, he can never beat them playing such a smart prank on them which they played on him... Without saying anything, Samrat move out behind Abhay while Piya and Gunjan started to laugh seeing Samrat expression...
MALLIK MANSION AT NIGHT
Darkness were around the house as everyone went back to their respective room after dinner and spending sometimes catching up with each other, talking about their day in work... When Armaan and Rahul started to discuss about some cases, Muskaan and Piya went to their room saying they were too tired and don't want to get involve in discussing which is related to work at that time of the night...
So leaving the guys, girls left to their rooms wishing them goodnight...
Around 11, Piya came out not able to sleep... She went to the hall and started to search for some movies which will help her to sleep easily... As she was searching through the CD's, one CD caught her eyes...
Piya eyes lighted up seeing this and a smile form on her lips... Leaving other CD's, Piya put the CD on the player and make herself comfortable on the rag resting her back on the couch as she sit holding her knees close to her hugging it... Piya eyes were fixed on the television screen as the letters started to show as she play the CD...
'HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCESS' it was showing as CAPITAL letters... Piya face were glowing in the dark as she saw those words in front of her eyes... Next moment Armaan and Rahul appear in the screen and Piya giggle seeing how both were fighting saying who will first wish her...
It was a joruney make by Armaan and Rahul for Piya 18th birthday... The year their parents dead, it was taken just three months ago of their death... For a moment, smile fade from Piya face remembering their parents were with them that time but not anymore...
Piya attention were taken by the sudden scream of Armaan and Rahul shouting, 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCESS'... Piya who got tears in her eyes making her view blur, wipes it away before it fall as she look at the screen seeing Armaan and Rahul holding each other while his father were making the video for them...
Before they started to talk, again they started to bickering saying they already decide who will say which part... Piya giggle seeing her two brothers fighting like kids and she could hear in the background her father warning them to stop or else he will not do the video for them...
Soon the video started after Armaan and Rahul speech of saying how much happy they r to have a small sister like Piya... Also they wanted to share some moments of their life which they spend with her from the day she was born to till her 18th birthday... As she was 18th, they would like to take her back to 18years back and refresh their moments with each other...
Next moment, pictures and small video's started to flash on the screen... Piya sit straight looking at the screen happy as much as excited she was the time Armaan and Rahul play this video in her 18th birthday... Smile was on Piya lips as she saw the pictures attach with small video's started...
First one was, the day Piya was born... Naina was holding the little princess wrapped in a warm cloth just to let her cute little pinkish face out... Jai was the one who was taking the video and Piya smile hearing those lovely words which Naina and Jai were exchanging in between plus to the small Piya who was peacefully sleeping in her mother arms...
Just then with a bang, Armaan and Rahul run inside towards the bed demanding to see their baby sister and Naina was laughing seeing how impatient her son's were... They bicker about who will hold her first and Armaan won when he proudly said he is elder then Rahul so he will get to hold the little Piya first...
Piya smile when her brother's take turms to hold and praise how beautiful, small and tiny she was... Then after that, Armaan sit on Naina right while Rahul sit on Naina left with Jai behind then as Naina hold the baby Piya in her arms... With a click sound, the picture appear on the screen written, 'HAPPY AND COMPLETE FAMILY'
Second was, first day Piya was in her new home... Armaan and Rahul were holding a banner written, 'WELCOME HOME PRINCESS' with pink and red balloons... House were decorated with red and pink balloon...
Then the scene move to the baby room which was decorated by pink and white... Around the floor, there were different kinds of soft toys, most of them were teddies... Piya smile seeing how Armaan and Rahul were showing those toys bring it to her face while Naina put little Piya on the cab who was looking around the place...
The video was end by the click sound and picture appear, Armaan and Rahul standing on either side of the cab looking at Piya who was inside the cab...
Many more video's and Picture appear on the screen showing, Piya first bath, Piya firt playtime with her brother, Piya first crawling on the floor with her brother on her side, Piya first time standing alone, Piya first step and many more things Piya did first time in her life...
After these, months started to turn years... Piya first birthday, how she run around behind her brothers... How she make her brothers follow her orders, Piya started to learn new things, new words, new friends, new school and many more...
Also they had picture of other occasion of their life, how Piya end up running behind their brothers, how Armaan and Piya play prank on Rahul... As Piya was watching the play, there come one of the funniest video which was taken by Jai when Piya was around 16years old...
They were in the garden and Piya sneak from behind the bushes holding a water pipe... Armaan and Rahul were standing with their back towards Piya as they were playing hide and seek... Piya was holding her giggle as she was going to make her brother soak from head to toe...
'Bhaiii...' Piya scream and when they turn around, Piya let the water hit their face making both Armaan and Rahul soak in water from head to toe...
Piya was laughing while Armaan and Rahul were standing like statue as they were still under the shock... In background, they can hear Naina and Jai laughing along with their princess...
'U r gone Princess...' Armaan said as he run to get hold of Piya...
Piya run away leaving the pipe and Rahul got the pipe while Armaan got hold of Piya who was begging not to soak her but Armaan and Rahul being the naughtiest wasn't going to let go off Piya so easily... So laughing evilly, Rahul let the water drown on Piya head soaking her from head to toe...
Picture was click to when the three of them were trying to get hold of the pipe as they hold the pipe at the same moment and when Jai call them they turn to the camera still holding the pipe and frown on their face...
Piya who was so lost in the video, didn't know Armaan, Rahul and Muskaan have come out from their rooms... Piya had the volume increase unknowingly which make them come out to see who was watching television at this time of the night... They were going to interrupt but seeing this last video Piya was watching, they stood enjoying the video silently not letting Piya about their present...
When the video end and the picture was shown, Muskaan brush out laughing which make Piya realized that they were there... Piya pause the play and turn around to see Muskaan sitting on the couch while Rahul and Armaan stood watching it as well..
Piya stood up thinking she must have disturb them so she quickly off the television... Muskaan frown seeing this and even Rahul and Armaan were surprise when Piya off the television...
'Band kyun kiya...' Rahul asked...
'I m sorry Bhai, maine aap logo koh disturb kiya... Woh mujhe neend nehi aa rahi ti toh main...' Piya said...
'Its okey princess, lekin tumne band kyun kiya... Hum saat main dekhte haina...' Armaan said moving towards her taking the remote out from her hand...
'Nehi Bhai, mujhe nehi dekha aage...' Piya said and turn around to leave but Armaan stop her holding her wrist...
They were shocked to see Piya change of behavior as they had seen how much she was enjoying it when they come out to see who was watching television... They knew something must be bothering her which make her be awake till this late...
'Kya huva Princess... Abhi toh sab tik ta achanak yeh tum...' Armaan started but Piya cut him...
'Bhai, Mom aur Dad ke jaane ke baad kabhi kuch tik huva hai...
Hum ek dusre ke saamne kab tak aise act karenge sab tik hai... Aapko pata hai jab aap hum sabse chupke Mom Dad koh yaad karte hai, rote hai then how we feel...
Hum saat hokar bhi ek dusre se dur hai... Aap hum sabko sambhalte hai lekin khud akele dard sehte ho... Kabhi hum mein se kissi se share ki, humhare saamne kabhi aapne ek aansu tak nehi ghiraya...

By the time Piya said all this, she was crying badly... Muskaan and Rahul were also having tears in their eyes seeing how much hurt Piya was... After 10mins, they move out and Armaan hold his hand out keeping Piya hand, then Rahul hand and Muskaan hand over it... Then he put his other hand over their hands... Everyone look at him not knowing what he was going to do and say...

Riddhima was sitting near the studies table while files and books were left open on the table... She was holding a pen close her lips as end of the pen was in between her lips while she keeps throwing the pagers without giving any interest to the book which was laying in front of her...
Riddhima mind was on someone else as she sit and try to work on a case that she needs to research before she do her very first surgery in Sanjeevani... Riddhima had discuss the case with Armaan after their new friendship and Riddhima was happy to see the friendly side of Armaan that he had been joking with her when they weren't working...
Riddhima was busy thinking about how Armaan had been trying to develop the friendly nature with her and she was liking his company so far after being officially his friend... Smile were on her lips as she sit with pen in between her lips while her elbow was resting on the table...
Riddhima was too lost, she didn't know how many pages she had left without reading or looking once... While Riddhima was lost, someone open the door and sneak in shutting it as slowly as possible not wanting to disturb Riddhima or anyone else...
As the person look at the bed and when she didn't see Riddhima, she look around the room searching her only to see Riddhima back towards the door... Books, files and papers were around the table with Riddhima lap open, Riddhima was sitting with a dreamy smile on her face as one book was laying infront of her.. Seeing Riddhima was lost in another world, naughty smile form on her face as next moment she scream near Riddhima ear, 'Ridzyyy...'
Riddhima who was lost in Armaan thought, jump from her seat turning around her face as her hand was on her chest as she breath heavily when her heartbeat raise with the sudden interrupt... Laughter break the silent in the room while Riddhima was in shocked state trying to control her fast heartbeat...
'Nikkiii...' Riddhima call her name as she came out from her shock state and seeing her best friend laughing holding her stomach...
Riddhima frown when Nikki control her laugh and again brush out laughing as she moving away from Riddhima when she saw Riddhima got up and move towards her to get hold of her crazy best friend who was trying to give her a heart attack a while ago...
Nikki run for her life knowing how short temper her best friend was and she would surely get hold of her for making her scared like that... Riddhima and Nikki were running around the room while Riddhima took everything which her hand reach and throwing them towards Nikki, lucky Riddhima was throwing only pillows and cushion which wouldn't get hurt Nikki if it hit her also...
After running for 15mins, Riddhima stop near the couch while Nikki stop near the bed... Both were trying to catch their breath and next moment, without giving Nikki to think what was happening, Riddhima got hold of her tickling on her stomach as both fell on the bed and Nikki laughing harder then she had been a while ago...
Riddhima knows, exactly where to tickle her and Nikki were begging from her to leave her as her breath were getting stuck and she was unable to breath proper... But Riddhima was not in a mood to let go of her so easily for scaring the soul out of her body...
'Bas karo Ridzy... I m... Sorry na...' Nikki said in between her laughter...
'Nikki ki bacchi... Maine pehle bhi kaha... Aise mujhe dara ya mat karo...
Lekin tumne phirse aise... Mujhe dara diya... What if, I could actually get a heart attack...
Koi aise, darati hai kiya...' Riddhima said in between her deep breath as she try to control her breath and fast heartbeat...
'I said na... Sorry... But main bhi kiya karti...
Tum itna cutely kissi haas ke baare main soch rahi hai toh meri mann kiya aise tujhe darane ke liyeh...' Nikki said...
'Thats sounds nonsense Niks...' Riddhima said...
'Accha tik hai... I m sorry, but main yaha tumse baat karne aayi ti aur tumhe kissi ki khuwabon main khoyeh huve dekha toh main control nehi karpayi apne aapko... Waise aap kiski khayalon main khoyi ti...' Nikki asked...
Hearing Nikki sudden question which was pointing directly to her, Riddhima stop tickling her as she sit on the bed correcting her mess hair and dress... Nikki was laying on the bed trying to control her laughter and seeing Riddhima sudden change of behavior, Nikki was sure it was something related to Armaan as she had notice today in hospital that how Armaan and Riddhima had been exchanging several looks thinking no one else would notice their silent talking through eyes...
Riddhima close her eyes knowing soon they will know that she and Armaan are friend... Then Riddhima think, whats the big deal being friends as they all were friends with each other... Its true Armaan didn't asked at the first day if their meeting like he asked Nikki but then she remind herself that, she hadn't try to make any conversation when it was only related to work...
Nikki look at Riddhima who was now sitting not looking at her... Nikki sit next to her bending down to look at Riddhima face who just laugh shaking her heads... When she met her eyes with Nikki, Nikki put her one eye brow up giving a 'What' look...
'Nothing as u r thinking Niks... I was just, thinking about what happen in Sanjeevani...' Riddhima said...
'What happen which I m not aware of... I know something happen between u and Armaan...
Ridzy, don't dare to lie because I had notice u and Armaan talking through eyes and how both had been stealing gazes from each other...' Nikki said...
'Haan toh ismain badi baat kiya hai... We work in same hospital, we work with each other toh communication toh banta haina...' Riddhima said...

'Niks, its nothing...' Riddhima was cut by Nikki...

'U don't need to make u sounds like u r emotionally blackmailing me Niks...

'Armaan...??? How did he knows...???' Nikki asked...
Riddhima tell Nikki everything happen in the hospital... How she found Armaan in terrace and how broke he was... Riddhima didn't give every detail but, she basically tell her how she end up letting her one of the secret out to him and how they become friends...
'This is something knew, for the first time Riddhima Gupta has let her secret to a guy that she knows hardly a week... Interesting Ridzy, kahin yeh dosti se badkar toh nehi...' Nikki said nudging Riddhima elbow and winking at her...
Riddhima rolls her eyes as she move towards the table and back to her work... Nikki frown seeing how easily Riddhima avoid her question and got back to work as if she was not in the same room with her...
Nikki move towards Riddhima and close the book she was trying to read... Riddhima look at Nikki asking what now through her eyes... Nikki took a deep breath and look at Riddhima closely before she speak...
'I really don't think u guys are just friends...' Nikki said...
'Sadly, we r just friends Niks... Don't u even think something can happen between me and Armaan...' Riddhima said as she rest her back on the chair...
'Why not Ridzy... I mean the way he felt so comfortable with u just the day he make friendship with u... He never was with me and still he is not...' Nikki said...
'Maybe he is comfortable with me Niks, but it doesn't mean we r more then friends...
Niks, plz... We better not talk about something that can't happen... I just take him as a good friend of mine, not more then that I have think about him...' Riddhima said...
'I feel this is not only friendship in between u too... and mark my word Ridzy, one day u both will be head over heels, deeply in love with each other...' Nikki said as she left Riddhima alone...
Riddhima open the book and try to read what she had been searching from few hours ago but she wasn't able to concentrate any more as Nikki's those last words were repeating in her ears... Riddhima close the book and rest her head on the chair while closing her eyes... Her mind was thinking what Nikki just said and unknowingly, Riddhima was asking her heart if it may happen or not...
Will she and Armaan ever be more then friends??? Will Armaan ever think about her as a lover???
Riddhima move close to the table, resting her both elbow on the table as she hold her head , trying to block those words from her mind and heart which she knows she can never get the answer...
MALLIK MANSION
Armaan was sitting next to Piya who had just sleep in deep slumber holding Armaan hand while her head was resting on his lap... Armaan was slowly caring her hair making her sleep without any difficult as she had been crying from an hour...
Somehow, Armaan make Rahul and Muskaan go back to their rooms and took Piya to her room making her laid down to sleep... Piya asked Armaan to be with her until she sleep and Armaan gladly agree as he can't see his little sister having trouble in sleeping alone...
When Armaan felt that Piya was in deep slumber as her hold got lose in his grip as she was holding a medium white teddy bear in her other hand around it close to her chest... Armaan smile seeing how much Piya love that teddy, it was the one their parents got her on her 5th birthday... It was Piya favorite teddy from then and sometimes Armaan hides it to irritate Piya and when she started to cry for her teddy, Armaan will give it back to her...
Armaan slowly move out from the bed, hiding Piya nicely in the comforte and kiss her forehead... Armaan look at her face which shows the dry tears lines in her cheeks and red nose which looks for cute... Armaan always tease her whenever her nose get red due to crying just to see the lovely frown on his little sister face...
Armaan move out from the room, making sure Piya was in deep slumber closing the door slowly... He move to his room and not bothering to on the lights which he had off before going to sleep but hearing noises, he went to check who was in the hall... Armaan move to the big glass window looking outside at the sky...
Piya's words were echoing in his ears as he felt the pain in her voice... Armaan close his eyes but this time, no tears fall from his eyes, he took a deep breath and open his eyes...
'Mom, Dad... Pehli baar main Piya ke saamne kuch bol nehi paaya... Mere paas koi jawab hi nehi ta...
Main jaanta hoon jo bhi Piya ne, Rahul aur Muskaan ne kaha woh sahi hai...
Aap logo ke jaane ke baad, pehli baar Piya ne mujhse kuch maanga hai... Lekin, mujhe dar hai ki main woh de paaunga ya nehi...
Mom, Dad, please hamesha mere saat rehna... Main puri koshish karunga... Piya ke liyeh, woh jaisa chaahte waisa karne ke liyeh... Kyunki aap dono ke baad, woh aur Rahul jo hai jiske liyeh main jee raha hoon... Aur main yeh bhi jaanta hoon Muski bhi mera responsibilty hai ab... Main puri koshish karunga, pehle wale Armaan banjaane ke liyeh...
Aur shayad aaj maine Riddhima se dosti karke yeh gadam bhi utaya hai ki main ap apne life main aage badunga...' Armaan said as his eyes were fixed at the sky...
Armaan was surprise himself for thinking about Riddhima at a moment like this... Unknowingly he was happy that he had took the first step towards Riddhima by forwarding the hand to be friends... Smile form in Armaan lips as he think of Riddhima and how they had been so comfortable around each other the rest of the day after they confront in the terrace and after they accept the friendship...
NEXT DAY
Armaan was standing near the nurse station waiting for others to reach for the briefing... He keeps checking duty chart and smile seeing Riddhima duty was with him... As Armaan was busy staring at the duty chart, he felt someone present as the person came and stood next to him peeping to the chart...
Armaan look at his right side and was shocked to see Riddhima standing close to him while her eyes were on the duty chart... Her eyes were searching something and Armaan saw how her eyes light up seeing what she was searching...
'Hey...' Riddhima said looking at him and Armaan just move his gaze away looking back to the chart whispering a 'Hi' to Riddhima...
Riddhima was little surprise when Armaan didn't greet her with the cheerful voice of his as he was lost in something... Riddhima turn taking a file from the counter as she stood next to Armaan... Armaan look at Riddhima who was giving no interest to him but to the file which she was holding... Feeling Armaan gaze, Riddhima look towards him to see Armaan turning his face looking forwards to see if anyone was coming or not... Riddhima smile knowing Armaan had been watching her...
'Kiya baat hai... Aaj Dr.Mallik bohot chup chap hai... Kuch huva hai kiya...' Riddhima asked looking back to her file...
'Kuch bhi toh nehi...' Armaan said...
'Accha, issiliyeh itna thanda 'Hi' aur ab toh tum aise behave kar rahe ho jaise hum sirf ek dusre ke saat kaam karte hai dost nehi hai...' Riddhima said...
'Nehi aisi baat nehi hai woh kaam ki pressure u know... Aur waise bhi main ek baar dosti karta hoon toh bohot acche se nibati hoon... Lekin kaam ke waqt main sirf kaam ke baare main sochta hoon issiliyeh aise...' Armaan said...
'Accha matlab, Dr.Mallik apne proffession aur personal life alag rakhna chaahte hai... Nice to know that...' Riddhima said looking towards him and smiling...
Armaan smile to her and before either of them could say anything more, others came... Armaan look around to see if everyone was present but seeing Piya and Samrat hasn't come yet, Armaan ask Rahul where was Piya as she had come with them to the hospital...
'Woh locker room main ek file lene gayi hai... Actually mujhe aapse kuch discuss karni ti but aate waqt meri feet twist hogayi toh Piya ne kaha woh locker room se file leaayenge mere liyeh...' Gunjan said...
'Are u okey now Dr.Gunjan... Aap please kuch laga dena and if u want u can take a half day if u don't feel better...' Armaan said...
'I m fine Dr.Armaan... Thanks a lot for the concern but its nothing, I will be fine soon...' Gunjan said...
'I hope so... Dr.Abhay, please do check her feet before u start ur duty...' Armaan said to Abhay who nodded...
Armaan check the time and they have three minutes let and still Piya or Samrat hasn't come... Everyone wait for Piya and Samrat who hasn't come yet... They were involve in their own talks when Piya came holding the file which Gunjan was telling them...
'Here u to Gunji... And Sorry Dr.Armaan for being late...' Piya said with a smile as she stood next to Gunjan...
'Its Okey, Dr. Piya... Dr. Gunjan already inform me where u went...
Where is Dr.Samrat...' Armaan asked...
'He must be coming in any minute Dr. Armaan...' Piya said letting a small laugh as she look around her back...
Armaan look at Piya with his one brow up suspensing that Piya was up to something again... He was wondering now what she had done when they saw Samrat coming... Gunjan gave Piya a confused look when she wink at her giving the file Gunjan was asking for... Seeing the confuse look, Piya whisper near her ear so only she could hear, 'Wait and watch, the drama is on its way...'
When Samrat joins them, without waiting for another minute, Armaan started to give duties to them... When Armaan was giving duty, Piya was staring at Samrat with a naughty grin on her face... Everyone else attention was on to Armaan but Piya was busy staring at Samrat who was rubbing his body as if something was moving on his skin making his skin tickling...
'Dr. Piya, General ward...' Armaan said...
Everyone look at Piya who was looking towards Samrat with naughty smile on her lips... Armaan also look towards her when she didn't answer him and follow her gaze to see Samrat who was busy rubbing his body...
'Are u okey Dr.Samrat...' Armaan asked with one eyebrow up...
'Yeah Doc... I don't know why, but...' Samrat said rubbing his skin...
'It doesn't look like u r Dr.Samrat...' Armaan said...
'Kinda yeah... If u excuse me...' Samrat asked...
'Sure, but don't be late to ur duty which is in Cancer ward...' Armaan said...
Samrat look towards Piya who make a straight face and as if she was confused too seeing his action... But Samrat knows it must be related to something which Piya had done... When Samrat run away from there, Piya brush out laughing to which caught everyone attention towards her...
'Dr.Piya, whats so funny...' Armaan asked as he kept the duty chart as he had givien duties to everyone...
'Actually Dr.Mallik, Dr.Samrat ke body main tickle ho raha ta issiliyeh woh aise jaldi bhaag gaya...' Piya said controlling her laugh...
'How did u know...' Nikki asked...
'Because maybe Dr.Piya is behind whatever Dr.Samrat is facing at the moment...' Rahul said...
'Dr.Piya...' Muskaan said as Piya brush out laughing again...
Everyone was staring at Piya with confusion expression while Armaan, Rahul and Muskaan were sure that Piya played a prank on Samrat again... They shake their heads and others were waiting for Piya to tell what was happening...
'Common guys, I m not telling if Bhai is addressing me as Dr.Piya... That means its working hours and there is no place to let a personal talk happen...' Piya said...
'Piya, just let the beans out... What did u do now...' Armaan asked...
'Bhai, I didn't do anything... I just make his prank back fire to him again just like Gunjan did yesterday...' Piya said proudly...
'Matlab...' Gunjan asked...
'Matlab yehi huva ki Samrat was going to play a prank... And Gunji, this time his target was u...' Piya said...
FLASHBACK START
Piya walk in to the locker room in hurry to see Samrat coming out... As Samrat was holding a coffee cup, it slip on his shirt and his shirt was mess up... Piya and Samrat look at each other with shocked expression and Samrat look at himself as Piya was standing hiding her mouth with her hand on it...
'Sorry...' Piya said who had recover from the shocked first...
'Damn it Piya...' Samrat said as he move inside the to changing room throwing his lab-coat on the bench...
'I said I m sorry Sammy... Maine dekha nehi tum saamne se aa raha ta... I was getting late and main yaha Gunji ki file lene aayi ti...' Piya said moving behind him as he went inside the changing room...
'Its okey Piya but please ab tum mere peeche peeche andar mat aana... I need to change my shirt...' Samrat said...
Piya stop on the track hearing him and move to Gunjan locker to take the file... She turn around to go when she saw a bottle on the floor near the bench... Piya look around and thought maybe someone let it there so took it checking the name...
'ITCHING POWDER' Piya was confused seeing this and thought to put it to the bin thinking someone by mistake had brought it to the hospital... Piya stop on her track when she heard Samrat blabbering something as he was inside the changing room...
'Kuch tik nehi ho sakta tumhare saat Samrat...
Beta pehle se hi tu us itchin powder ke chakkar main late hogaya aur ab apne shirt pe coffee gira diya...
Waise idea toh bura nehi hai Gunjan pe woh use karne ka... Kal toh Gunjan ne Piya koh us mirchi wale sandwich khane se bacha liya... Aaj dekhti hoon woh kaise tujhe bacha sakte hai...' Samrat was saying thinking Piya must have left by now...
Hearing what Samrat was thinking to do, Piya first was shocked but soon regain her sense and naughty grin took over her face as she move away from the changing room...
'Oh so Dr.Sammy Shergill is thinking to play a prank on my best friend...
Too Bad Dr.Sammy Shergill, isbaar bhi tumhara plan kaamiyat nehi hoga...' Piya said laughing evilly but quietly so that Samrat wouldn't know that she was still present there...
Making sure Samrat was still in the changing room, Piya look around to see Samrat labcourt on the bench... She quickly move taking the labcourt and putting itching powder... When she was done, she put the bottle on his lab-coat pocket and left from there holding Gunjan file...
Samrat who had change his shirt came out and look around to see no one was around... Checking the time, Samrat got the lab-coat and wearing it he check the pocket making sure the bottle was safely in the pocket...
'Thank god Piya didn't see it...' Samrat said with a relief smile as he move out from the locker room...
FLASHBACK END
May the time Piya finished telling them what she hear and what she did, everyone was laughing... Other staff were giving them wired look seeing the doctors talking and laughing as the duty hours has started...
When Armaan realized others giving wired look to them, he dismiss them asking to go back to their respective duties, he move towards the children's ward follow by Riddhima who was also laughing to what Piya said... Armaan smile seeing how Riddhima was still laughing as she keep saying she never know any girl could play such a prank on any guy because it been like the third prank Piya had play in a week...
'No any other girl would dare to Dr.Riddhima...
But we are talking about Dr.Piya here... So is very naughty from childhood... Actually not only her, I m her partner in crime, we used to play prank on Rahul...' Armaan said as they enter to Children ward...
'I didn't know u can play pranks on others Dr.Mallik..' Riddhima said...
'Yeah, very few know the real Armaan Mallik...
U have many more things u don't know about me Dr.Gupta...
Now can we stop our personal talks and resume our duty...' Armaan said as he move to the kids who came running towards him circling around him...
Riddhima stop at the entrance hearing Armaan last words and keep staring at his back as he was now sitting on his knee so that he would be in eye level with the kids... All the kids were happy to see Armaan there and when Armaan felt Riddhima wasn't by his side, he look around to ask what happen through his eyes...
Riddhima shake her as if nothing happen and move towards the nurse table taking the description file from the nurse sitting behind the desk... Riddhima look at Armaan when she hears the kids were laughing and saw Armaan telling them some jokes... Riddhima smile seeing how well Armaan handle the kids...
END OF THE DAY
After morning incident, no one had seen each other as they got a dozen of patients to attend... They had been running around the hospital as they got some new patient from an accident spot... Nothing serious but they were like 20 people to attend at the same time... So they didn't get much time to sit around in the lunchtime as they got the news of people moving to the hospital in the middle of their lunch...
Piya and Gunjan along with Riddhima, Anjali, Muskaan and Nikki enter the locker room all tired... First think they were to do just let their body fall on the bench giving their muscle rest for a minute or so...
'I didn't know we r to welcome by bunch of 20people in the middle of the day...' Nikki complain...
'Niks, its a part of our job... Who ever needs the treatment, we need to give our best...' Anjali said...
'Yeah, but why can't people just be a little more careful so that they don't get in to accidents...' Nikki said...
'Niks, why u r complaining... If u thinking that u have to go home and make dinner, I have a solution for that...' Riddhima said...
'Of course its my turn to make dinner and I have no strength left to make any dinner for u guys...' Nikki said with a pout...
'We all are tired Niks, but we will be needing food right...' Anjali said...
'Di, no need to make food... We can just order from somewhere...' Riddhima said...
'U r the best Ridzy...' Nikki said hugging Riddhima...
All this while, Piya, Gunjan and Muskaan didn't say anything... Piya was sitting her head resting on Gunjan shoulder while Muskaan just keep rubbing her temple... Anjali saw Muskaan being quiet call her asking what's up...
'Just tired like u girls... We better go home and get some rest...' Muskaan said checking the time...
'Yeah, I will need a cool shower to make my muscles relax...' Piya said as she stretch her hands...
'Better move on then...' Riddhima said standing and moving towards her locker...
Just then the guys enter and seeing the girls sitting they move to their respective lockers greeting the girls... Seeing Armaan and Rahul enter, Piya jump and run towards her locker so they could go to home as soon as possible... Gunjan also move to her locker...
'Bhai, lets go home soon... I just need a cool shower and food...' Piya call as she reach to the locker...
'Speaking of food, whose turn is to cook dinner...' Rahul asked...
Piya frown remembering it was her night to cook the dinner... She look towards Rahul knowing he purposly remind her knowing she was thinking to relax after the busy day...
'Thanks Rahul for reminding me...' Piya said as she turn towards her locker...
Piya hold it open and was shocked to see chipkali in her locker... She look closely to it and then it hit on her mind that it must be left from Samrat who was trying to play pranks on Gunjan and Piya from the last two days...
Piya look around to see Gunjan standing near her locker and her eyes move to Samrat who was standing near his locker resting his back on it playing with her mobile...
'Seriously Sammy... U just left this chipkali in my locker to scared me... That too plastic one...' Piya said as she rest her on hand on the locker door...
Samrat turn his face to her with a confuse expression while others stare at them from one to another... Seeing Samrat innocent look, Piya roll her eyes knowing now he was acting all innocent... So she turn around to hold the chipkali and throw it on his face...
Piya move her hand towards the chipkali and it started to move, Piya eyes got big when she came to know it was not fake but it was damn a real one now moving around her locker as if it belongs to it... Piya was too shocked to react but when the chipkali jump towards her, she move back screaming...
At the same time, Gunjan scream too making every living soul in the locker room jump... Both the girls run away from their lockers, screaming... First everyone were shocked with their sudden scream and next moment when they saw cockroach flying out from Gunjan locker and Chipkali running on the floor... Girls started to scream with Piya and Gunjan as they run to hide themselves from those insects...
Next moment, Piya was hugging Abhay, Gunjan was hugging Samrat and Riddhima was hugging Armaan... Muskaan was hiding behind Rahul, Anjali was hiding behind Atul... Nikki was standing on the bench and when she was about to fall, Abhi move towards her catching her before she hit the floor... Nikki hugs Abhi hidding her face on his neck while Abhi carry her in bridel style...
Guys were shocked seeing the girls hugging them because they were scared the hell with a small insects... Abhay, Armaan and Samrat were froze when Piya, Riddhima and Gunjan were hugging them as tight as they could... Rahul was trying to calm down a high Muskaan who was shouting to throw the insects out from the locker room while Atul were lost in Anjali who was hiding behind him asking him to do the same... Abhi was shocked when Nikki hide her little figure on him...
Samrat was the first one to came out from the trace and he chuckle seeing how the girls were scared... He try to move Gunjan away from her but she wasn't ready to leave him...
'Gunjan, leave me...' Samrat said chuckling...
'Just get those things out from here first...' Gunjan said...
'Pehle chodo toh... Dekho tumhari feet ke paas chipkali hai...' Samrat said...
Gunjan leave him hearing this and look around to see the chipkali coming towards them, not thinking twist Gunjan jump on the bench again screaming and others trace were broke by her loud scream... They leave their partners and look around and next moment, Piya also scream jumping on the bench next to Gunjan as cockroach just landed on her dress and she just wave it off from her dress...
Now both Piya and Gunjan were on the bench and Abhay got the cockroach holding it in his hand... Seeing Abhay got the cockroach, others relief... Abhay look towards Samrat who wink at him as he took out his mobile...
'Isse dar rahe ho tum dono... Itne choti si cockroach se...' Abhay said holding it so that everyone can see it...
Piya and Gunjan scream when Abhay move towards them holding the cockroach... They were still standing on the bench hugging each other closing their eyes not wanting to look at the insect when Abhay move towards them to show the cockroach which was moving in his hand as he hold it to them...
There was a 'Click' sound and next moment Samrat and Abhay brush out laughing when Abhay got out from the locker room to throw the cockroach... Others were now standing, staring at them...
Piya and Gunjan open their eyes to see Samrat laughing holding his mobile... They understood it was Samrat prank as they had play prank on him but they didn't him to use those real insect to make them scared the hell out...
Piya and Gunjan jump down from the bench and run towards Samrat knowing he got their pic and they weren't going to let him go so easily... Samrat run around the locker room not letting they get me when Rahul hold Piya and Abhay hold Gunjan before they kill Samrat with their bare hands...
'Leave me bhai, I m not gonna leave him... Sammy give the damn phone and delete that pic...' Piya shouted...

When Samrat mention about Sandy, everyone brush out laughing... Even Piya and Gunjan laugh hearing how Samrat mention about Sandy... Rahul and Abhay let go of Piya and Gunjan knowing now they wouldn't go after Samrat...
'Well, uske hisaab se yeh jo pic tumne liya haina, woh kuch bhi nehi hai...' Piya said as she hi5 with Gunjan...
'Right, kyunki humne tumhara pura video banaya hai if u have forgotten Dr.Sammy Shergill...' Gunjan said...
'Haan toh kiya huva, tum dono ke expression bohot funny hai is pic main... Ab toh yeh pic ek ek staff koh mail karne wala hoon main...' Samrat said...
'U know what Sammy, yeh toh tum Rahul ke tarah bol rahe ho... Jab bhi main aur Bhai, uske saat prank khelte hai toh woh aise dhamki dete hai humhe, yeh karenge woh karenge...' Piya said as she look at Armaan with a smile...
Armaan was about to say something but his pager goes off and he left excusing... Everyone look at him and Piya smile fades when Armaan left without saying anything to what she mention... Others move to their locker while Muskaan and Rahul move towards Piya seeing how her expression change...
Muskaan keep her hand on Piya shoulder who gave a small smile blinking her eyes saying she was fine... Rahul put his hand on Piya back as Piya shake her head trying to not to let the tears form in her eyes...
'Piya...' Rahul said softly...
'It's okey Rahul... Bhai needs time... I can understand...
It's just that I miss him...' Piya said...
'We all miss him Piya... It's not easy for him and we should understand it...' Muskaan said softly...
'I know Muski... But I really need him to be back to himself by now...
How long we will be trying to be normal around each other... Its hurts to see that we lost the Armaan Mallik once who do anything and everything to make people laugh around him... He is not to himself now... This is someone new with us and I don't like it...

Rahul holds Piya closed to him rubbing her back to calm her down as she was trying to fight back with her tears which was forming in her eyes... Her voice was shaking when she said all those words... Muskaan was rubbing her arm to make her feel better and telling her that they were there for her...
Others feel the tension between Rahul, Piya and Muskaan but no one dare to say anything... Samrat throught to break the emotional moment in the locker room and make Piya mood light because no one can see her sad and low...

'Accha, lekin tum dono toh aise act karte ho tum log kabhi kissi cheez se darte nehi ho... Ek insect se dar gaye...' Samrat asked...
'Hum kaha dar gayi ti... Woh toh its so yuck issilyeh humne aise chillayi ti...
Waise bhi girls are much better then the boys okey... Hum log prank khelte hai toh kuch accha khelti hoon...
Aise bacchon wala pranks nehi...' Piya said...
'Really now, toh tumhara matlab hai ki girls are better then boys...' Abhay joins on Samrat...
'Yeah, Sammy has prove that by playing a kiddie prank on us...' Piya shot back...
'I don't agree in that...' Rahul said as he move on Abhay and Samrat side...
'Woh toh tum kahenge Rahul... Kyunki tu hamesha haarte hai humse panga liya toh...' Muskaan joins on Piya and Gunjan...
Slowly, girls and boys were standing in front of each other bickering over who is much better then each other... They were saying what they had try till now and how much mature they do everything they had done... When neither of them wants to accept that they are weak, slowly the bickering turn to fight and they stood with their backs to each other getting angry on each other for calling how useless they were on something or other...
