Prologue :

It was supposed to be 2 days of trip out of town, it got prolonged. So many factors clouded the situation. On top of it, his phone went missing. He managed to inform Romi that he was fine but could not manage more. Finally back in Delhi but Adi had whizzing issues, so brought him to the hospital.

He was waiting outside the out patients room, the GP was examining Adi and Shagun was with him. While looking around, he spotted the phone area. Sighing with relief he walks towards the booth, then he sees her... Ishita! What is she doing here? She walks past him without acknowledging him.

Ishita! ISHITA! She stops and turns. Her face is blank. She looks at him, while he walks towards her. He is so relieved to see her.

R: Ishita! What are you doing here

Lady: Ishita?

S: Raman, we are done, Adi is fine lets go

Raman turns a second towards Shagun and whips his head back to Ishita but she is no longer there. He runs towards the end of the corridor, no one is there. He asks a ward boy whether he saw a lady in Kanchipuram saree walking out, he receives a negative response. Adi and Shagun were fidgeting, he had to leave.

By the time he reach Bhalla house, it was past midnight. He carries a sleeping Ruhi inside, the whole house was quiet. Everyone was asleep. He went into his room and laid Ruhi on bed. Ishita was not around. God! He has a stinking headache. All the tension, working behind ishita's back, the case, Shagun, adi's tantrums... It's too much. He needs ishita's soothing presence. Her sound advice, the nok jhok... He just wanted Ishita. Where is she? He calls her mobile, it's un-reachable. He freshens up and lies down. It's past 2 am. Where is she? He calls the clinic, no response. He closes his eyes...

He feels her presence. She is back. He feels his heart lift.

R: where were you? I was worried

IshiTa doesn't respond. She goes to Ruhi and kisses her. The. Ruhi smiles and murmurs Ishima... My darling baby. Love you. Ishita looks at Raman, headache she asks. He nods. She picks up the balm and starts to rub it on his forehead and massages his head. He puts his head on her lap and murmurs I'm sorry Ishita. I didn't mean to hurt you. I'll tell you everything soon, just bear with me... Tears drop from his eyes. Ishita, wipes away the tears

I: Sss... Close your eyes. Rest

After sometime, she slowly lays his head down on the pillow and moves ways. She is about to turn, she feels an arm around her waist. She turns around and moves back until she hits the wall. He puts both his hands on the wall effectively baring her escape. They look at each other's eyes. Ishita tries to speak and failed, ending up with her mouth slightly open. She couldn't seem to close it. It felt as if Raman surrounded her, by the warmth of his body, scent of his skin. Just a few cm away from her she could see the way his powerful chest rose and fell with each breath he took, could almost hear the beat of his heart. There was a heated, sensual bubble kind of feeling surrounding them.

He lifted his hand and touched her temple, trailed his fingers slowly down her cheek, tracing the line of her jaw, chin, finally reaching her still open mouth, moving over the outline of her lips. It was all Ishita could do to hold back her moan of response. But just as she drew in her breath, a sense of self preservation took over. She pushed him and he fall on the bed.

R: I need to talk. Please!

I: Sleep. We'll talk tomorrow

R: you stay on the bed too.

She nods and lies down. Raman sleeps peacefully for the 1st time in the past 7 days. He has a smile on his face.

Next day morning:

Raman wakes up refreshed. He looks at the clock. It was 10 am. Ouch! He had slept in late but never mind, it's a new day. Ruhi would have gone to school. He'll catch hold of Ishita before she leaves. First he needs to call Mihir to tell him he'll be late to office

R: Mihir! I'm going to be late. Prepare a briefing note to update all the happenings in the past 7 days. The Metha project, is it on time?

M: bhai, chodu is supse. Ap ghar samalo. Bhabhi... I'm sorry

R : what are you talking about? Before Mihir could respond, Toshiji is at Raman's room

T: Raman putar, apa agaye?

R: ah ma. Mihir, I'll talk to you soon

Toshiji pulls Raman to he dining area. The whole family was there, with down cast eyes. He looked at everyone, no one said a word. He knew he had hurt the family with his behavior but it was his majboori. He could not see Ishita. Where is JKR? He was about to ask, when amma and Appa walked in.

R: before all of you ask about last week, please understand, it was not planned. The riots and strike at the area we were made it impossible for us to leave. Network was down. I couldn't call

Romi: bhai, I SMS and called so many times. Why didn't you answer?

R: I didn't receive any SMS or call from you. Raman was perplexed. My phone went missing on the 3rd day and Shagun broke her phone. So, we were left without phones. I managed to get thru using land line once but it too failed in a few seconds. No idea what's happening to out communication system. Anyway, where is Ishita? I spoke to her last night. She'll understand. Ishita?

Everyone just looked at him.

Romi : Bhai! You couldn't have seen Bhabhi last night. She has been missing for the past 3 days...

Raman's face turned ashen... Ishita is missing????

Precap : Raman frantically rushes to the police station. He sees Ishita sitting at the station. Ishita! ISHITA! She turns around... Do I Know You?
