Oh Bhaisa...your logic is entirely too ...well, logical. The cameras, taking your ever-loving-first-born to 'see' a girl when his wife has just bid a fond farewell to him...it grates.
What hurts though is the fact that there is real talent there - the actors (most of them) are wonderfully talented. I mean, just look at Mohinisa and Sumersa's little tete-a-tete last week - HILARIOUS. But all that is put on the back burner for tripe!!!

Yes, Paro and Mala's giggling DOES irritate. What is a little disturbing is Paro's inability to empathize with Rudra's pain at being dumped by his mother!!!

And the haveli has more strangers wandering in and out of it than the Central Station!!!

I have been away from the forum for so long, it feels strange commenting, here, but your post is compelling me to put in my 2 cents!

Firstly, take a bow, you said it all & how!
Secondly, I agree with everything you said! I have been grumbling about the disconnect that Indian TV has with its viewers since ages! The problem is, Indian TV Industry us full of ambitious people-they want to make shows where they don't narrate a story, come on, that would be too simple, instead, they want to tackle social issues-issues of abuse, assault, etc etc, how does it matter if you aren't equipped with the skill to make a difference, how does it matter if you trivialize things-they can always claim creative liberty!
Cheerful, optimistic, amnesiac heroines are the norm, while brooding, rude, amnesiac heroes rule the roost!
Gautam Hegde's range of imagination has always been something to be discussed, considering he seems to want to lift things very often from his old shows onto the new ones!
One has no choice but to lower expectations while watching Indian TV, & I'm saying that in the most objective way possible! While other countries have taken their TV content forward, Indian tv continues to run in circles!

What a brilliant post!!...👏
Everything I wanted to say, and more!
The most irritating part is that they take the viewers intelligence for granted. Showing all the illogical things, in the guise of creative liberty and stretching that beyond all the elastic limits...How is a sane person suppose to sit in front of TV and take all the crap, which is served day after day in a shiny, sparkling packages!? Someday soon, that package looses its sheen and see what we get??? the real deal!! Which is farthest from reality. The ugly show off, with lots of makeovers and plastic surgeries. I sometimes appreciate myself and others, who have immense tolerance levels and are eternally positive to have undying hopes for some change, some change that we will be able to appreciate and justify with our still logical brains!

And what shall I say about GH, which I havn't said yet! That man can get an award for the 'Greatest Recyclist' !! Bas!!

thats the whole issue , i dont know who they assume their audience to be , dekhna ha to deko disrespectful to assume they make anything and throw in a few romantic scenes in husky voice and people will buy it ,
they are not cooking a story buddy , they are trying to make instant noodles with only salt , salt is essential , but salt alone is not sufficient

the issue with this industry is , the perception thats its secondary because of the quality of work (not all but majority) even by the makers and writers in the industry , so is the attention given -secondary especially when the future prospects are not bright , when there was a split in the team itself they lost half the battle because the trust in the project was eroding

i gave up on the show for the simple reason ,quality of the show is a function of attention given by the makers , and attention is a function of success , right now there is none

Good to see you! Where are you these days?

@bold- Exactly! I don't know, for which part of the population they have cooked up these tasteless noodles?
PS: Love food analogies! 😃

RR has become retarded central and there are just too many idiotic things happening for me to sit through it...not even for Rudra/Ashish😆

Anu, i watched the episodes last week and then this week, and ohh the comparison is drastic, how easily CVs take us for granted. it was not , it is not easy for me to stop watching it, when there is a Rudra centric track again, but they have reduced him into a romeo , a romeo for a 5 year old juliet who has no life beyond giggling at random romance and Mala. So yes, thats distasteful, hurts my eyes.

As u said forum has become restricted to who looked gorgeous in which clothe in which year, who is sexy and who is not, who is 4 year old fan and who is new, and some random lame discussions, nothing particularly about the show, its contents or even the actors. Hardly there are writeups on characters or scenes, and that exactly reflects the condition of the show now.
