Ram Kapoor's wife Gautami Kapoor back on telly with a new show

Gautami Kapoor, last seen in Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi is gearing up for her next show on TV. The yet-to-titled show is being produced by Rajan Shahi and is slated for Star Plus. Sources say that Gautami will be playing a mother of three girls and the show will trace her journey with them.
"It's a bit on the lines of the film Namkeen, which was about four women - a mother and three daughters - and her relationship with them. The mother is more like a friend to the girls and showed how all of them together grapple with the outside world" adds the source.
Gautami, whose comeback serial ..Zindagi did not do well was hesitant to take up another show, but Rajan convinced her as she has a strong role in it. In fact, Ram Kapoor (Gautami's husband) was also approached to play her reel husband but he turned it down because he is busy with film commitments, informs the source.
Now, the hunt for another actor to play her husband is on. When contacted, Rajan confirmed that Gautami is doing the show. "It's too early to talk about it though," he said.
