Debate : Political party which is in power should

A : Forget about the thought of retaining the power in next election and should focus on betterment of country.

OR

B : Focus on how they come to power in next elections, meanwhile if somethings are done for country's benefit, its is fine.

Choose A or B for interest of debate.

In Satyakal governments were as mentioned in option A

and in

Kalyug governments are as mentioned in option B

I think People should follow Tamil nadu voters in that aspect, they simply change the govt that is in power ! They(voters) are not bothered about development, they are desperate to change the government!

Wishes,

Mythili

It is like catch 22 situation.. In order to stay in power (in a democracy) they have to do what is good for the country or else they will be voted out in next election . Also one term (4 years) is not always enough to make a significant difference to the postive outcome of their policies so a 2nd term is a must or else the next president benefits from the policy changes like Clinton did after Reagan and Bush senior.

As per bhagwatgeeta.....

"Karm kar fal ki aasha mat kar"

There was a period when people worked without looking for power.... then came period when people stayed in power with little doing for people..... now is the period politics is opportunist.... in this 5 years earn for one self as much as possible.... then next government comes it earns in those 5 years and the last government comes back....

Now this is an ideal situation. Akin to "Ram Rajya" but in todays time not feasiblešŸ˜†. No political party remembers how they canme to power and only focus on retaining it and if along the way development happens well thats incidental.

OR

B : Focus on how they come to power in next elections, meanwhile if somethings are done for country's benefit, its is fine.

Focusing and strategising on how to regain power is secondary objective after pilfering off public funds. If still they see chance of returning then they all go for it. Development in true sense is not on their immediate agenda. Networking with CEO's of companies and celebrities is also seen as beneficial for reasons known and unknown.

Choose A or B for interest of debate.
