The episode begins with Sakshi pondering over Shekhar's words on Durga and she calls Akash who is driving to get some work done. Sakshi asks him to carry on but Akash tells her if its important he can tell her and he will do it but Sakshi tells him its important for him to meet that person and tells him to go on cutting the call. Sakshi thinks smugly that Shekhar will only Durga's past himself and decides to handle it herself.
Dayal has drifted off to sleep on couch when Durga walks in and wakes him up. He tells her he drifted off to sleep waiting for her and asks her what happened to which Durga says everything went as per plans. Dayal asks her to change since she got wet and notices Dev's jacket. Durga tells him that it belongs to Dev and her next meeting with him will just be an excuse and Dayal looks worried. She tells him she will change and they will have dinner together. When Durga goes away Dayal says to himself that all her judgements are right but not abt Dev.
Shaurya calls Durga and tells her he is near her car and asks her where she is and Durga smiles to herself and asks him why he is getting worried and she was with Dev and he will take care of her and he shouldn't bother her. But Shaurya asks her where she is to which she replies that Dev took a lift from truck driver and dropped her home. Shaurya is pissed off since he waited for her all night in rain and she is comfortable at home while she praises Dev saying he was so sweet, she enjoyed with him and all that. Shaurya is hell mad and she further adds fuel to it saying her meeting Dev is turning into something else just like the meeting that got cancelled and became a lunch date. She asks him to thank Dev on his behalf and when he says ok she tells him no need as she will message Dev herself and cuts the call. Shaurya is angry on Dev.
Dev gets a message from Durga thanking him and he thinks of Nithya smiling. And he remembers Durga's words about rain and he thinks who are you Durga? Sometimes you feel like you are someone close and the next you feel like a stranger. There are times when I want to understand you and at times its best to remain strangers. At times your smile seems genuine but your eyes say something else and why am I thinking about you when I should only focus on getting the diary from you.
The next day morning Sakshi and Raima meet Shekhar and Shekhar is ecstatic at meeting her. He tells her he felt rich people have small hearts but she proved him wrong. He says in today's world people only help others if they have a selfish motive but she brought him to his guest house. Sakshi says its an old habit of hers to help people. She says she heard about him wanting to start a business in import export and she likes to promote upcoming talent and thought of helping him out. Shekhar says he likes it maybe he is not the only one to do research. Sakshi says she wants to know something about Durga and he says a person who could dig out anyone's info is asking him about Durga. Sakshi says she doesn't like to argue with children and asks him if he can provide the info she wants and he agrees. He says she was smart, popular like an open book who anyone could read and everyone wondered why she disappeared and he got to know after coming there that she is in India but he is shocked as to what is she doing in India. Raima says Durga has left her flamboyant life behind and is running an NGO here. Raima says its strange that someone would give up their happy life and when in USA has so many NGOs itself and Sakshi says if the answer is so simple then she would have got it long back and she tells him that she won't get help with general info and asks him to contact every friend of his and Durga's to get the details just like the one she got out from him and adds that he is facing problem with funds. Shekhar is impressed and says its good they are friends else enmity would cost him a lot. Sakshi says she doesn't make friends easily and tells him it is a business deal and he agrees.
Goenkas are having breakfast and Raj asks for second round of coffee but Shaurya is rubbing his head. Sakshi notices this and says its Shaurya who needs it. Raj says she should focus on newspaper more and tells her the government will soon see a change since there is progress in health industry. And he tells Suchitra that maybe even education will pick up and Dev walks in sneezing. Raj asks him for an update and he says the meeting went well and he hopes once the hospital is built he and his expert team will help them and Raj is happy and says if Dr Prabhakar joins hands with him they will get more strength and Dev agrees sneezing. Raj says he did magic in one meeting but y is he sneezing and Shaurya says if he is out in the rain the whole night he is bound to catch cold on Dev's behalf. He asks Dev sarcastically if Dr Prabhakar also got drenched or if it was just he and his friend. Sakshi is worried seeing Shaurya and Dev asks him not to remind him of last night. Dev says after the meeting his car broke down in the middle of the highway when it was raining heavily. He says he didn't know anything about car repair and he was stuck and Suchitra says that there was no network in that place and she was tensed and she only got to talk to him in the morning. Dev tells Sakshi it would have been good if he was alone but even Durga was with him and he thanks the truck driver for helping them out from wandering alone on a rainy night. Shaurya taunts that Durga won't have trouble hanging out with a gentleman like him but he can't understand how could his car break down when it gets serviced regularly. Dev says what is wrong in it as its just a machine and it can get spoilt anytime. Shaurya says strange and Sakshi is tired and just then Durga enters. Sakshi wonders what is she doing so early in their house and what work she may have. Durga comes to them and greets them. Shaurya greets her with a bis smile on his face and Sakshi says speak of the angel and the angel appears and asks her to join them for breakfast but they must warn her that they don't speak business before having breakfast. Durga apologises for coming without a warning and tells her she isn't here for business reasons and says its a friendly visit. Shaurya asks her to sit but she ignores him and addresses Dev and tells him she is there to thank him. Shaurya is mad and Sakshi thinks she isn't here alone but has brought a storm along with her. Raj asks her to join them and Durga says her father doesn't let her go out of home without breakfast but she doesn't mind a cup of tea. Raj asks the servants to get a cup of tea in living room. The whole family settles down and Raj tells her that Dev mentioned their meeting with Dr Prabhakar was successful and Durga agrees giving full credit to Dev as Dr Prabhakar was impressed with Dev. She tells a fuming Shaurya that he would have been proud about his brother and Dev cuts in saying she should take some credit herself. He tells Raj that it was Durga who did the briefing and Durga says in that case they can agree they r a perfect team. Shaurya is jealous and calls it a joke in his mind. Sakshi compliments Dev and asks if she came there just to praise Dev and she thinks in her mind she is there to praise Dev before Shaurya. She tells Sakshi that she didn't say anything new and they made Dev chief architect as he was talented for that reason. She adds that along with being a brilliant architect Dev is a gentleman and gives Dev a gift while Shaurya is burning from inside. She says Dayal gave it to her for taking special care of her. Dev says its sweet of him and asks her what it is. Dev sees its a laughing buddha and she tells him its a good luck charm. She says she needs to give him one more thing and he asks her if it is one more gift but Durga says she is sorry to disappoint him as its his jacket. He takes it sneezing and she tells him had he not given his jacket to her she would be sneezing too. Everyone gives weird looks and Sakshi thinks in her mind that she is preparing a weapon called Shekhar Mehra against her, better watch out.
Precap - Shekhar tells Sakshi that before disappearing from social circle Durga fought with her dad.
