She knows Honey Singh has a huge fanbase and this opp. can make her more popular among youngsters who love Honey Singh songs

Also I feel she wants to ditch her 'Indian-Saree' look she dons in every film... She wants to tell everyone she can be glamorous!

But why? She can never really compete with the other willowy and fit actresses to corner the glamor market. Why couldn't she have tracked her own path - a traditional-looking heroine, comfortable in her own skin and separating herself from the other Barbie clones in Bollywood. She seems to want to fit in more rather than stand out. I guess only Vidya can be so experimental and bold in her choices - eveyrone else is just the same.
The more I try to stick to my liking for her the more she disappoints. And if this song is anything like the Dhadang Dhandang one - then Lawd help us.
