Heyya guys!!
The following work which you will be reading is a result of extreme boredom. This is just a one shot. Not one of my best, but do read. It makes me happy. It's not part of my ff (A song of fire and ice)!but it's got the same characters.
Let's begin !
A looming dark sky as the last rays of sunlight disappeared, showed a man walking towards a wooden door. He paused. Was he strong enough today? To stretch his hand that was currently fisted in his pocket to reach out and open the door and hopefully reconnect to his beloved? For days he had accustomed this routine of walking by her door and waiting outside for nearly an hour for days now. He would be faced with the same dilemma everytime. Open it or not? But he had made up his mind today. Today had to be the day to reconnect, to reconcile to repent.
He waited and fidgeted for an hour when a sudden shriek pulled him out of his unsure demeanor. He saw the pool of people coming out through the exact door he wanted to go through. He waited until he saw the stream of hurried people lessen and when there was finally no one coming out. He took steady steps to finally face his love. He could feel his heart pounding in his ears. With one deep breath he went in. A girl was fixing her dupatta and gathering the projects that were dumped on her table. She was trying to get her things in some sort of semblance. Organising and being organised was never her forte. She was just about to gather her purse and leave when she heard footsteps. She knew it in her heart that today was the day. She knew for days that he would stand outside her door, contemplating whether or not to come in.
She turned around and wasn't surprised. Parth Kashyap looked exactly the same way as he did when she last saw him. He sure did have a few bags under his eyes but it didn't affect any of his sculpted features. She moved towards him. Parth saw Manasvi coming towards him and his heart lurched. If she were anyone else, they would've cringed in disgust or yelled at him to leave but this was his cute little magnet. Neither did she yell at him nor was disgusted by him. Manasvi Ramachandran was the best thing that could happen to hid life. He walked faster and grabbed her into a hug and continuously whispered sorry in her hair.
She pulled back and set her books aside and took his face in her hands! "Parth! Please sorry mat Kaho, mujhe tumse koi shikayat nahin hain. I know that it must've been hard for you to share your past with me. It doesn't bother me that you had issues with that police guy. It doesn't bother me that you are still scarred from all the dealing with him in your past. I know that it still pains you everytime you think about it. But it's your past for a reason! It doesn't define who you are now! So please...stop thinking that it will bother me. And the next time you leave me like that I will kick you. Aur ab please chalo! Aur thoda smile Karo, yeh sadu look tum pe suit nahin karta"
Parth laughed at her. He hugged her tighter this time and she reciprocated with exact fervour. They pulled apart when they heard a beep from Manasvi's phone. She looked at it and said " we should go! Warna Sanyu mujhe Amar degi, us ki engagement mein late hui toh meri toh murder 4 ban jayega" Parth agreed and took some of her students work and walked to his car. While driving away he said "aur waise bhi agar hum apne friends ki engagement mein hi late jayenge toh humare engagement mein koun aayega"
Manasvi blushed hard at that and slapped his arm. They laughed and joked until they reached the house of their best friend. Sanyukta Agarwal...OOPS!! Sanyukta (soon to be) Shekawat.
