"Arijit and Qazi may have a tough competition in the finals"

Usha Uthap will enter Fame Gurukul shortly.The last stage is looming and all six contestants of Fame Gurukul are as edgy as they could ever be. With the increasing pressure of the competition and judges' decision, the talent hunt show now ropes in a morale booster, none other than Usha Uthup. The heavy voiced singer, who is very happy about being on the show says, "Actually I am very nervous and also it's a lovely feeling to be on the show. Sony has done a fantastic job of creating a show like Fame Gurukul."

On her role in the show
I am not a judge! I am here, just to be with them and conducting a few sessions with them. They are obviously very tense. The competition is very tough, and so is the pressure from the judges. So, I will create an ambience which will cut the tension and boost their energies.

Extra Effect of Usha being on the show.
I certainly hope that my contribution is positive. It would be an insight into the stage craft. Through my attitude towards music and life, I will give them a magic ring which will not allow the pressure of the judging as well as the competition affect them. The idea is that they should enjoy the show.

Usha's take on judging in Fame Gurukul
I did see the last collision of Javed and Ila on the show. There are certain set standards and I feel the judging is quite relative. And it is a transparent fact that people are voting, other than that, every music director's or singer's perspective cannot be parallel. And this is the reason for so many clashes on the show.

Favourites and strong feelings.
All six are my favourites. But I have strong feeling of a final tie between Qazi and Arijit.

Pipeline projects

"I have plenty of projects coming up. Well, firstly I am a very low profile person and don't do so much of publicity for any of my projects. Barely people would know what Usha is up to.

I have worked on a Tsunami album which includes 72 to 75 singers from all over India. It consists of all top singers of Mumbai too. It is expected to be out in December."

Qazi can't sing and thats a fact,FAME GURUKUL is a singing competition and how come India JAANTA can't see that he can't sing. how can they be so STUPID. IF this was some competition in American Qazi would have been OUT Longer time ago, Atleast Americans are not stupid to vote for someone like qazi.
We are losing good singers one after the other becasue of Qazi. Jaanta should get an idea by NOW. ALl this time he has only been in the safe zone by judges only ONCE. THATs proves he is not singer. Also hate his tapori style.
