I don't think any of the Indian Idol 3 contestants actually really impressed me. When the judges say this is the best we had so far I think they are lying to themselves! Like in II2: Kuranya was really good...Minal was really good and they had talent. But this one either they all have nasal/baby voices, or their voices are to low ... I just don't think they are living up to the ball park.

last time karunya and amey were the only ones who were outstanding..this time almost every single contestant is extremely talented 😛

yeps...last time quality wise obviously karunya and amey were outstanding...but that was IT!!!! this time arnd...every1s amazingly talented....so jolly aunty shud start packing her bags..

I agree. Karunya has really raised the bar this time. Unfortunately we failed to honour true talent last time and voted him out. I won't be surprised if the same thing happens this time as well. Some how I am convinced that mediocre sells these days. O well...lets wait and watch to see the drama unfold 😊

agree! this time the contestants are unimpressive esp the girls. they either have childish voices or husky voices. i am not saying being husky voice is bad but we must have variety.
of the boys...they all have good voices...but most of them are untrained singers and still have few years to go before they can be called good singers.

No, this season is much better. Last season, there were only a few who stood out for me. This year, they have a talented bunch where one is better than the other.
