i've been meaning to come back to this post for the last few days but time did not permit.

I just wanted to say that this is one of the most reflective and positive posts I have read to date on the forum. I agree with everything that you have said. The fact is there is something different about this show. I've always known that Ekta knew what the masses liked and she delivered it in truck loads. However, qhat she has achieved in this show is to bring a whole different demographic back to their television sets. The whole team behind the show have shown such great insight and foresight that there are times when i have genuinely wondered whether I am watching a SP show. I mean no offence by that statement, its just this is not the usual fodder which is trotted out on a daily basis.

I won't go into detail re: the characters, I've already written an essay on Raman tonight. All I will say is that i look forward to the day when i will be able to do the same for ishita.

Bhairavi (sorry if I've spelt your name wrong) please do keep posting this was such a pleasure to read 😊
