His heart thudded,drowning every sound around him.
He took an unsteady step back,almost staggering,as his face clouded in fear.
He ran,dread coursing through his body,as he tried to block one image after another albeit unsuccessfully.
His hands shivered and he felt the steering wheel slip under his sweaty palms as he drove like the devil was behind him.
Time stood still. He pictured her lovely face,cowering in shock and pain and his fists tightened.
Words swam in his mind,words of love ,of promises,of together forever and his jaw clenched,with fear and rising anger on realizing that someone had dared to hurt her.
He ran to his house,racing against time. Looking for her face,amongst the sea of faces looking back at him,fear written in all of them.
Then she came in his line of sight.
He looked at her and looked again. There she was,sitting against the wall. Tears pooling in her eyes,which his hands itched to wipe away.
His heart swelled with relief. She was okay. His Paro was fine. And then his eyes fell on her leg. The Doctor said she was lucky that the acid had missed her face. But she was hurt. And he fought the pain rising in him,reflecting the pain in her eyes.
He took her in his arms. Wrapped them tightly around her slender waist,crushing her to him.
He soothed her,comforted her. Comforting himself..
He was there. She was alright. He wiped her tears. He let out a sigh knowing relief like he had never known.

Sanaya and Ashish,take a bow. Coming to San,my heart was in my mouth when she screamed in painđ It felt so real,piercing your heart and you felt terrified for her. And,time stood still for me as well,when Rudra comes running to see if she is fine. Also, Ashish was wonderful,his expressions were bang on!đ
Waiting to see what happens on Monday! This track seems interesting.. Will bring them even closer <3
