When Gauri crossed by Pratham's life, he did everything under the sun to make her marry him at any cost- by hook or by crook.
When Armaan fell in love with Riddhima, the whole world ceased to exist and his obsession with her only grew deeper and deeper. Some people even termed it as some kind of pathological obsession.
When Zoya fell in love with Asad, she wove her world around him to an extent that she forgot her search for her father. To an extent that she woke up every morning in the hope that Asad will tell her that he loves her. Nothing else mattered anymore.
When Sooraj fell in love with Sandhya, he put himself at stake , risked losing everyone's love just so that Sandhya's dreams come true. Nothing else was all that important.
Hmmm...
Why am i mentioning all the above love stories? Because in all the above love stories, the love of the couples either bordered complete obsession or else complete sacrifice and devotion.
I could have said a lot about today's episode, you know. Rudra's MUCH DESERVED confrontation with his errant parents, the desperate attempts of the family to win him back by piggybacking on Paro and using that Printer's Tray as the peace flower. I mean, come on, guys. The family is really trying and Rudra does need this peace for his own good and sanity, more than anything else and anyone else.
BUT...
All Paro's efforts , all pleas and apologies of his parents and all the " awwle-our -sweetie-cutie-patootieing" of Kaaku Sa, Samrat and Maithli can only bring a family reunion. Rudra has come too far , by now. He has come to the point where Paro has become the start and end of his existence. Everything else and everyone else has moved into the background. Fine, Rudra is playing or at least trying to play a decent family member , but all his strings and all his pulse is with Paro. Everything else and everyone else is secondary. He makes you almost feel bad for Paro as she is trying to thread him back into the family - because all the emotions that she is trying to evoke in him are already invested in her. What the others will get from him are residual emotions. Its quite a joke if you ask me. Its like i am trying to colour your life without realizing that bloody am the whole canvas and the whole colour palette of your life. Errm. Ok. A dark joke.
If you don't believe me , watch Rudra snuggle up to Paro like a baby as she pats his head, pampers him like a little bratty boy and he goes to sleep in her lap. The whole scene seems to be screaming - Mala and Dilsher? Say who?
