But she was rather successful in Tamil and worked in all 4 southern languages plus Punjabi and Marathi I think. She is still acting in some other regional cinema I think. She is a very average actress IMO, but the fact that she acted in so many industries and with so wide an audience taste is rather impressive to me.

Though you did not ask, the most versatile BW actor to do regional cinema is shockingly Jaggu dada. 😲 . Apparently he has worked in 8 or 9 languages. I was looking up Tiger 's wiki around the time of his debut and wandered to Jaggu dada's wiki and learned of this interesting titbit.

Agree on Nagma.

Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Bengali, Kannada, Bhojpuri, Malayalam...

She did feature in two successful Hindi films. Baaghi and Suhaag. Though I remember her from her song with Sanjay Dutt in Yalgaar.

She became a top star in Bhojpuri flicks. I was surprised because she was not that young when she ventured in Bhojpuri films.
