First off, let me say that I miss Nitu's analysis, it's not the same without it. But Nannu said her computer's on the blink.
Secondly, thanks to Taniya for the Topic Heading.
So, here's my take, I hope I do even half as well as Nitu does. π
Let me start off by saying that I feel the entire Kripa / Angad Cliff scene was shot better then the Angad / Prithvi cliff scene on Monday (which I was not impressed with). You actually felt anxious while watching him trying to desperately hold on to Kripa.
One thing bothers me though, he rolled down a cliff to rescue her, yet he had to climb and stretch slightly to get to her unconscious body??? Doesn't make sense.....maybe I was seeing wrong?? π ......Someone please clarify.
However, the whole slip and slide scene instantly brought to my mind a similar scene from "Romancing the Stone" with Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner, although it had a better outcome than yesterday's. β just a bit of trivia, from my usually junk filled brain. π π
Angad: My hero, and Kripa's too. This macho man was oh-so-worried about his lady love, and rightly so.....this is the course of love.
For those who said Angad has been expressionless these past few episodes, well, yesterday, that special "Kripa look" was back, when he was standing at the hospital door looking at Kripa's prone figure on the bed. That look has always made my heart tingle....that's how I knew it was back....my heart got all tingly when watching that scene. π³ π
His eyes were back to talking with out saying a word, and the relief that she was o.k, only came through when he saw her open her eyes, despite what the doctor had said.
Naina was good, as a mother who has realized her mistakes, willing to accept the consequences of her choices and all she wants now is that her child forgive her and that he be happy....and if Kripa is the one to do that, then so be it....almost too good to be true, from her, isn't it? .....But we'll have to wait and see how long this change of heart lasts.
I loved the scene between her and Angad. Her, as a mother trying to get her son back home, accepting that things might never be the same....him starting out as an unmovable rock, slowly softening as he listened to what she had to say, finally moved enough (note the single tear) to say that if she is truly repentant, then for him not to forgive her, would be an injustice.
And Angad saying: "mamta ka pyar, mujhe daadi ne mila" (or something to that effect)......ouch!!! I actually flinched when he said that.
And how cute was Kripa, as the reluctant patient, refusing to drink the milk!!! That was just so adorable!!! The tables were turned once again, as Angad was made to get Kripa to drink the milk, same as she did when he was ill. Right down to wiping the milk off her face with his shirt....Awwwww........... π³ π
Their easy banter, and comfort with each other, is truly a remarkable sign of how their love for each other has deepened and grown beyond sizzle.
I've got to say, and I've said it before, and I'll probably say it again.....Angad and Kripa have the perfect on screen chemistry, the perfect ease of a mature relationship.....although, Angad did act like a teenager, pulling his hand away from Kripa's the moment her mom walked into the room....that was soooooo cute (I'm gushing, I know, but I can't seem to help myself). π π³
Playful, teasing Angad was back in full force and then some.....Unable to contain his happiness, his laughter at Kripa's parents teasing each other. The delight at the unexpected experience of witnessing the loving ease of that relationship. I don't think he ever experienced that in his own home. And above all that, Kripa flicking her thumb at him, it was all such a sweet insight into their family life.
For the second time in as many days, we got to see Angad really enjoying life, the happiness, the smile that reaches his eyes and refuses to stop, the easiness at which he laughs these days.....sigh. It makes you long to have it last forever, doesn't it.
Well that's my take. I hope I did justice to the episode.
Cheers
