If you were an actor...

would you put up with the kind of nonsense that is shown in the serials? Good thing I don't want to be an actor but even if I did, I think I would never get an assignment 'cause I would always object to producers' illogical explanations in the shows. Don't the employees (actors/actresses) even bother to object to their bosses (producers, directors, etc) if they see something wrong or unpractical or even unethical?

I'm just completely fed up with all the shows on tv 'cause they all have the same thing.. husband marrying more than once, revenge, money laundering, etc etc etc.... 🤢

What would you do if you were an actor? Would you just do as the director tells you to or object?

There is no harm in being an actor, only if the makers are interested in good & short story. Nowadays they run behind TRP's & extension & the actors get frustrated with the same plot & unnecessary leaps, twists & turns. Hence some sensible actors decide to leave the show….which the makers object. They want their show to run for long aping The Bold & The Beautiful the longest running show ever & EKTA is highly influenced with this

yeh i don't think i could just sit around & let logic surpass me.........i would definitely object upon reading a script...........i mean surely u think about how u would react should u be part of the audience & take it from there.......

as for the TV serials they all seem to follow the same pattern of illogical incidents........hence currently i only watch TD........i used to watch 2 others but couldn't handle it anymore so i stopped......

they "close one eye". a lot of things that does not happen in real life, happens in reel life. how many men actually marry more than once without a divorce?

piya ka ghar is being dragged yet the cast is the same. it is also illogical. it should end. the original mother (irawati) is back. i don't know what they see in this serial.

is it the "number of zeros on their pay cheque"?

there is this comedy Hum Paanch. i feel it is a bad influence to the young kids. but it is coming back on zee tv.

Gulabo, this is with all the shows. (at least what's on Zee and Sony as I'm not familiar with other channels). The illogical twists and turns. They always show joint families who are constantly bickering.

No communications by lead pair😕...Multiple Marriages...kids from different spouses🤢...Is this how we live or want life projected on TV. I am totally disgusted when they show that you can buy everything and everyone with money. Is this how they want to project India and Indians.😡😡 I realize that television is just for entertainment...escapisms...but shouldn't there be some realism as well.😡

Actors do object... but to some certain exetnd, they compromise. Rajeev Khandelwal had enough of stupid scenes that he left Kahin To Hoga (he was suppose to listen what other person was "thinking" and react on that.. how more stupid can a serial be.. and after listening to the other person's thought, he should get angry and rape somebody.. ugh.. how stupidier a writer can be) ... but lots of our actors do not dare to do that.. Rozi Roti hai.. and since now that these serials are daily, some of them even don't have enough time to do other serials.. YOu know they may have unemployment fears also
