Dear diary,

I stumbled into the mainhall tonight in search of my phone...totally in a daze..I was feeling lost...some dark thoughts were haunting me...and I was trying to shake them off...

...when she fell into my arms out of nowhere...took me through a journey...a spin...her softness...her fragrance...held me mesmerised...I did not want to let go...

There was music in the air...magic in our embrace...wished it would last forever, as I allowed myself to be lost in her..drowned in her beautiful eyes...that seemed to shoot a thousand questions at me...that I did not care to answer since I was as confused as she was...but I welcomed this befuddlement...it all fit in so perfectly.

The soft breeze gently veiled her face with my shawl...I dared not move..lest the spell broke...I was still held confounded by her eyes...she lifted her hands and stopped for a moment, as if seeking permission...and then proceeded to lift the veil...revealing an identity...was she trying to tell me who she was!...As if I did not know!

Then she moved out...pushing me away...even that touch was so welcome...until I realised she was out of my arms...

She brought me out of my reverie...and quite uncharacteristically I sought her help..as if she was an aide...a confidante?..or something more than that.

I felt like a child when she found the phone on me, and admonished me about my drinking habits...as if she had all the rights!

Hell! Does she know the burden I carry- the unbearable misery I am afflicted with! Why did I even feel like I had to explain!

As if she cared...she was in a hurry to get away...

...she was right! Why do I drink so much? Half of this must be an illusion...simply an intoxication...I must keep the habit in check...

But for once...ever since 'that day'...

I felt I was FOUND...even if it was only for a few seconds...

But now I will stop scribbling like a fool...because I want to be IN CONTROL...always...

PS:

Not been able to catch up with Friday episode thanx to a slow connection...so, tons of thanx to garima's Saahil scenes...If theSaahil moment is incomplete as per the epi, it is because I did not watch beyond this scene... and since it was the soft drizzle after a drought...did not want to let it pass...😳
