i know all are freaked out with the current storyline... Not to forget, all are furious at Raghav for being friendly with pakhi... honestly speaking, I am okay with the friendship because raghav is still a trustworthy person... But i too was furious at him cause he let pakhi hold his hand in front of his love Kalpi... Let me redeem raghav's character atleast to an inch since u all are so fuming at him... A justification to the character of Raghav as well as to the storyline to some extent..
Firstly, Why did Raghav marry pakhi when there were many other ways to take revenge...??
I remember a comment of one of the makers in one of the discussions... Someone had said, they are showing what the story demands... Not to forget, the present leads of the show are Kamla and Raghav... the story isnt all alone abt Kamla and Kalpi achieving success... their EMA... but also abt a powerful, wealthy business tycoon thriving to earn the only person he wants in his life, his love Kalpi... Raghav had to be portrayed in such a way tht though he would do anythng to be with Kalpi, though he was a rich and powerful person, he was completely helpless in this situation cause of his own mistake (Somewhere, the lack of upbringing is responsible for this mistake of his) Initially all wht raghav wanted was revenge... But nw he doesnt care a damn abt it... He married pakhi in anger against the Kapoors... Even after doing such an act, he didnt flee away from the situation though he could've done tht... He instead chose to face Kalpi and her family inspite of knowing the consequences... he explained everythng to kalpi only cause he expected only kalpi to understand him and no one else... Tht is the trust they have in each other... And im sure Raghav will not break tht trust kalpi has in him for some cheap tactics of tantrum queen which she has been playing even before the marriage ( remember the sunday when she collided with Raghav purposely at the club )
Why doesnt Raghav act fiercely with pakhi when she plays all these tricks..??
U all think Raghav doesnt knw wht tricks pakhi plays to be close to him...?? Nah! I doubt... He knws all of it... He instead chose to not give any heed to it since it'll make no difference to him... cause the one person for him was always kalpi and will always remain... No matter what pakhi does, she cant get Raghav... Only because she 'wants' Raghav... she doesnt want to 'earn' Raghav... she 'wants' him only for her satisfaction... If she really loved him, she first would have tried to 'earn' his respect for her... Respect- something tht is a base for every relation...
Thinking practically, Even the Richest of the rich person faces trouble in his life... Every problem cant be solved by money alone... Life isnt fair to anyone all the time... I think the present storyline only portrays hw helpless even a business tycoon can be, and EMA of a business tycoon... though i completely agree tht cvs didnt have to butcher the characters so much even if this was the whole concept of the show... For a person like Raghav singhania who could do anything for his love, to portray him helpless is a difficult task i agree to some extent... But even the present track would have been fair if the Ra--khi marriage would have been shown as fake and Raghav had to hide it frm kalpi cause of some reason... It would have been completely justified... Infact, Raghav's character would've been redeemed...
Moreover, I feel the present track is revolving around 4 characters... Kamla, Pakhi, Kalpi and Raghav... On one hand where Kamla and Pakhi share a relation bound by heart, tht is knwn as illegal... on the other hand, kalpi and kamla share a blood relation tht is legal but not lovable since kamla prefers Pakhi over kalpi... Likewise, Raghav and Pakhi is tied by a legal court marriage but dont share any relation except one sided as Raghav prefers Kalpi over Pakhi... And Raghav kalpi share a relation bound by heart and true love but called as an Illegal relation for the world... This question will be put forward by pakhi to Kamla... Why isnt Raghav and Kalpi's relation valid when her and Kamla's relation is valid..?? Im waiting for pakhi to question kamla...
P.S:- Sorry for the long post.. No offence to anyone... I Just put forward my POV to the current storyline...
