vid request

hi firends....does any one know how to download vids from sify...i want sum vids on indian idol from sify.com....but dont know how to...is there some convertor or sumthing..plz help me.

i doubt there is...they are for online view onli 😕

Downloading video's from SIFY site......

There are 2 ways to do this....

1) Use a software named "wm recorder"....search it on goolge and follow it's help/steps for video download.

OR

2) For this u will need "Flashget" or other download manager which supports "rstp" protocol.

On the sify site when u right click on any video, u will get a shorcut to the video file such as ....

"openwin('indianidol_7_ep14_08june07-128k.wmv')"

now select the "indianidol_7_ep14_08june07-128k.wmv" part and paste it after
" rtsp://210.210.2.80/bbpublish/ " so the final link becomes

rtsp://210.210.2.80/bbpublish/indianidol_7_ep14_08june07-128 k.wmv

u can then use this link in flashget to download the file!
