We all know Aryan Vaid. The actor who will be seen in Anil Sharma's Apne as the bad guy is quite excited about the film. "Apne obviously belongs to the three Deols. The film has boxing as a backdrop and my character's name is Gaurav", says he. On quizzed that India is a cricket crazy country, will a film like Aryan work, Aryan said, "Apne is not only about boxing. Boxing is only the backdrop of the film. Apne is an emotional film. It's not necessary that one has to connect with boxing in this film." Rubbing shoulders with the Deol khandaan and boxing against them must have been some hard work. "We took training from a person called Tapan Das. He is a gold medalist in Asia in boxing. I along with Sunny and Bobby also trained with a couple of Australian coaches. The training went on for about two and a half months. It was important because while shooting we had to get the choreography right so that we didn't injure each other. Also it was necessary to get the proper body language of a boxer." On his experience of working with the Deols, Aryan can't stop praising them. He said "It was great working with Sunny, Bobby and Dharamji. They were very cordial on the sets." Our birdy told us that Aryan's father is a great fan of Dharmendra. So much so, that he got Aryan to get him talk with Dharmendra. When Aryan's father told him that he wanted to talk with Dharmendra over the phone, he did not take it seriously. But when Aryan came to know that his father was really keen, he went upto Dharmendra and requested him to have a talk with his father. The superstar obliged and Aryan's father has not stopped gushing about the incident since then. His ex-Mr. International son was treated for his help. |
