To say that Juhi Parmar indulged in 'some retail therapy' on a recent trip to Bangkok would be an understatement.

The actress made the most of her break from shooting for Antakshari by maxing out her credit cards on a short trip to de-stress.

"I had a week off from Antakshari and I've never been to Bangkok and Phuket, so my sister Hina and I decided to go on a short vacation.

Besides chilling out, the biggest attraction for us was shopping!"

Shoe fetish

Leaving with barely seven kilos of luggage, Juhi got back home loaded with 53 kilos worth of clothes, accessories and shoes. Describing herself as a compulsive shopper, she says, "Both Hina and I love shopping.

We went crazy buying clothes and shoes in Bangkok. That place is a complete paradise for shoppers! In fact, we were feeling guilty that we couldn't shop for seven more kilos!"

Admitting that she has a fetish for shoes, Juhi reveals she picked up around 25 pairs while shopping in Bangkok. "I can't stop myself from buying footwear, and Bangkok's flea markets and stores have amazing stuff. On our way back, we looked like wholesalers with huge bags!"

Even though she had a fabulous time in Phuket, Juhi admits that taking care of one's tummy was a hassle. "I eat non-vegetarian food, but my sister is a hardcore vegetarian. The problem with the food there is that it has a particular odour that puts me off.

Wherever we went, the food would repel me with the smell. But we somehow managed to find something and keep ourselves filled. In the process, I think I have ended up losing some kilos!"

During her stay in Bangkok, Juhi bumped into her close friend and actor Raymon Singh. "She was there holidaying with her mom, and all of us went out for dinner one night. It was damn sweet and I totally adore her daughter Rishma. She's too adorable and cute."

After this trip, Juhi says she should plan some more in the coming days. "I am ready and raring to go off on another break when time permits."
