A much much better episode thank God and one that was fairly interesting with the entry of Om and Balli who is our dashing MJ in disguise. ALSO TOLD YOU GUYS THAT FC WOULD MAKE AN ENTRY! At least some things I say come true haha. Anyways let me get on with my analysis :)
NAYA RANG EPI NO.2
1. Tara Shekhwat or Sia Agnihotri?
This was so great to watch especially with how adamant and confident Tara was with her identity. She wasn't going to losten to those people telling her she was the wife of some random guy she had never met before! Tara rememberinf the people in her past is a really good indication of the fact that Tara never experienced coma and was in fact kept sedated for a long period of time. I'm still not sure whether it's been 5 years or a time less than that but I'm now convinced that she didn't go into coma. Like I said this is all a fake construct but one question does still bother me, does a Sia Agnihotri actually exist...?
2. Miracle doctor or closet psychopath?
Ha! I knew this Om guy was a psychopath and the fact that he is a doctor makes him even more sinister. Om's entry reminded me a lot of Rudra Pratap's entry where everyone considered him to be this honest politician who cared for his people and party but really he used this position to exploit people. Same goes for this man who apparently treats people for free - hmm I highly doubt this and for some reason I feel like he is mentally unstable and perhaps tortured or harmed the actual Sia Agnihotri and has now teamed up with Kala to harm Tara.
3. Glass breaking - more referrences to a disparity between appearance and reality.
Like in Monday's episode, we also had more glass break here but this one was more significant than the vase breaking.
This time, it was a picture of Sia and Om that broke which indicates that this false appearance of a married couple will break and Tara will get to the bottom of this mysterious relationship. Now my theory is that Om is a psychopathix killer who targets women and he was perhaps married to a woman who resembled Tara and her name was Sia but he killed her. To hide his crime, he found Tara who looked exactly like Sia and faked this whole coma story so that the whole world doesn't know that he killed his real wife Sia.
I guess we'll find out as the show progresses...
4. Balli v Om - Good v Evil - Not all that glitters is gold.
What I found really interesting was how these two were introduced in the show. The contrast was really well conceptualised and it shed light onto how these two were going to be pitched in the future episodes.
Om - He had a scary and rather eery entry with that background music and he almost choked that man while there were people calling him god. For the outside world he is the hero but really he is villainous.
Balli - He a heroic and dramatic entry with him chasing and terrorising Fahim Chacha but he didn't come across as malicious at all. He seemed to be the type of goon who liked to cause mischief for fun but not to cause any serious damage yet he is seen by the world as evil and corrupt. The mentioning of Tara's name triggered something and now I feel he'll go after Fahim Chacha to get more information and maybe Kala/Laddo will tell Balli that he has to kill Tara - maybe that's how Mriara will meet again?
Anyways this contrast in their entries further reinforces the appearance v reality in the show and basically revives the original concept of the old EBI which was all about the hidden reality being covered by false appearances. Personally, I'm looking forward to how this story unfolds 😊
