Teaser for Part 25

Jodha headed to her room for the night to sleep. She lay down and put on the lamp on the side table. She thought about what happened after the presentation; how Jalal kissed her hand and how it had left her happy for the rest of the day. Salima and Ruqaiyya had noticed that something was different about her and had quizzed her endlessly during their lunch break, but she didn't tell them a thing, lest they began teasing her and Jalal. She was in two minds; one part of her was happy that something like that happened while the other part of her wondered whether she should be happy about it or no.

Jodha - I loved his gesture today, no doubt. But, my heart wants me to view him as someone more than a boss; while my mind says that I should just stop right there. But my mind is right in a way. A relationship between us of any manner is not possible. We belong to different religions, cultures and even my family's social standing is not as much as his. I know this, but why is my heart not ready to understand this? And why is it slowly winning over my mind?

Jodha was feeling confused and stressed. She didn't know what the right way to go about this was. She ultimately decided to call up Jalal. A part of her wanted to know what that gesture of his meant while a part of her was just missing him. It kept ringing for some time till Jalal picked it up.
