Star Plus' Ek Hasina Thi to capture Dev and Nitya's fun-filled rain sequence

The love triangle between Dev (Bhuvnesh Mann), Durga (Sanjeeda Sheikh) and Shaurya (Vatsal Seth) is going great guns in Star Plus' Ek Hasina Thi (Cinevistaas Ltd).

Now, viewers will witness an interesting rain sequence between Dev and Durga which will take them back to their past.

Dev and Durga will get stuck midway amidst heavy rains, and think about their happy moments.

Seeing Durga, Dev will immediately remember how Nitya (Aditi Sajwan) used to love rains and would drag him with her to play in the rain. Viewers will see a completely different Nitya in these fun-filled sequences.

Nitya would have loved to play in the rain, gulping in her kulfi and also get poetic and romantic when drenched in rain.

A source states, "Dev will be thinking about the live-wire in his life Nitya, Durga will remember how she as Nitya used to get really excited on seeing the first shower. Visions of Nitya dancing and singing with her sister Payal (Teena Chopra) will come before Durga."

We hear that this rain sequence was shot in quite an elaborate way. The shoot happened for one day and two nights, with the actors involved shooting completely drenched in pump water. The scene has been aesthetically shot, and will be a visual treat.

When contacted, Aditi Sajwan aka Nitya told us, "Oh, I absolutely enjoy the rain sequences. They make you feel carefree, and most of the times you just want to express your inner joy on screen. Despite having a cold, I enjoyed getting drenched in water for this particular scene. Viewers will see how fun-filled Nitya was initially, before tragedy could strike her."

Watch the rain sequences starting tonight in Ek Hasina Thi.

Don't know why the makers are still showing more of dev and nitya, I don't think their scenes are needed anymore in the show, I feel dev and durga's story should be focussed on

Past has to be shown to understand story better. And also for Dev to draw parallels between Nitya and Durga.
I am surprised Nitya was so close to Dev! Driver's daughter so close to maalik's son? They are even shown sitting in same room, having pizza and watching movies. How did driver allow his girls to interact this much with the boy? Did the driver not know what a slimeball Rajnath was?

@atominis I put the same thougths yesterday in one of your threads. How did Nithya's father allow so much freedom to Nithya and Dev. Their story needs more scripting. More flashbacks for sure.
Dev-Nithya looks more fun and frolic. But Dev-Durga is intense in every sense. There is an unspoken tension between Dev-Durga. For those tension to break more of Dev-Nithya need to be shown.
I know love was never confessed. That's why the loss is more painful to Dev and his absence become such a huge betrayal for Durga.
I mean her expectation itself that he will stand by her leaving his family means there was def more than friendship between them which they both understood but never told.

Yeah there was something more which was left unsaid hence Dev has double regret and sense of loss.
But CVs have to show more detail of past to put things in perspective.

I hope girls' running in and out of the house and one of those girls' closeness a Goenka guy did not make Shaurya think girls were "available". In one episode Payal had shown her sketches to Rajnath. I am surprised how driver was never having any idea about "doings" of his master! Usually a servant is privy to lot of details of the reality beyond the facade put by their master in public.

I also wonder if Nitya's parents indeed committed suicide or were murdered or somehow driven to commit suicide by Goenkas. 😕

Why is Payal alone with potential witnesses in flashbacks? Or only Nitya accompanies her? Why did parents, especially father, not accompany when they went to talk to Ganguly, etc?

Why was Payal shown at gate of Goenkas, pleading as Shaurya laughed at her? What was she pleading for? Asking him to confess to his crimes? Or spare her and her parents from threats?

Rape scene also makes me curious. Shaurya and his friends were all over the place. They took her to pool, snatched her dupatta and tore her clothes. Then raped her one by one in a room. No one saw this? 😲 No one except Divya? Where was everyone else? No one stopped the boys?

Dev's mom was in US or India when this happened? She has not witnessed any discussion or showdown after this rape and the case?

Back to Dev, did he not know about Shaurya, his circle and his ways? Why did he never warn Nitya and Payal to stay away from him? The start of this fiasco is Shaurya trying to win Nitya and get her into bed! Nitya would have stayed away then.

Bagchi was also eye witness? Did not see him in flashback. 😕

No one else but Raima saw Payal walk on road after rape?

So many unanswered questions!

In one episode Sakshi did drama with her fake tears telling Dev's mom that she wasn't there so she doesn't know how hard this fake rape case was for them. As usual Raj and Sakshi manipulated her and didn't let her come to India. When she came probably Shaurya was declared innocent and Payal the characterless girl.

Back to Dev, did he not know about Shaurya, his circle and his ways? Why did he never warn Nitya and Payal to stay away from him? The start of this fiasco is Shaurya trying to win Nitya and get her into bed! Nitya would have stayed away then.
Come on Shaurya is his brother. He sounded like a flirty or a Dom Juan but who would knew that he will rape the daughter of a driver. When Dev came back remember he even asked him if he really did rape Payal. When Shaurya lied he read the lie in his face.

Bagchi was also eye witness? Did not see him in flashback. 😕
Sakshi said he is the father of the witness... he was the one who asked his daughter not to be afraid of truth. He wasn't the witness and Goenkas couldn't buy him nor his daughter.

No one else but Raima saw Payal walk on road after rape?
I see 1000 people on road and if tomorrow I will see in the news that a gilr was raped I wouldn't even recognise her. And if you are asking why no one helped her then let me tell you that it's always like this. I guess even that girl who was gang raped on the bus, her boyfriend had to ask for help for 40 mins before someone gave a dupatta to cover her so I am not surprised that only Raima saw her and helped her till she came to know Shaurya raped her.

So many unanswered questions!

@Eternal Psycho
I am wondering if Dev had NO idea that his brother has bets with his friends on bedding girls? If he was this close to Nitya as they are showing then why did he never caution her about Shaurya and his friends? Or is Dev a total fool who gets deceived by other Goenkas and has no idea what they are usually upto?

Dev is looking more like a bullied, suppressed, ignorant innocent/naive (read foolish) guy to me. He has a lot to discover for himself, his mom too. So much for getting justice for Payal!

When I talked of witnesses I meant people closer to Payal like her parents or other friends, maybe kids of other Goenka servants. Of course no stranger would help a girl like this. We know no one helped Nirbhaya and her BF.

It looks like Dev and his mom aren't aware of anything. And the small things they know they stay ignorant. They surely know that Shaurya is not a sweet innocent boy but not an evil either. That's the reason maybe Dev's mom act sweetly with him because he doesn't show evilpana in front of her. But now I guess Dev knows very well he is not innocent but his priority is Nitya and Payal not at all his brother. 😆 So yeah he is kind of fool 😆

I think no one was present there so when Payal ran away only Raima saw her. Didn't she stay for some time with her ?

Oh God I am so not into the past, let's not make the show complex, majority of viewers like watching serials to relax and yes with some social message too, the more complex this show becomes the more it will become another savdhan India or crime patrol, I am really loving the way the serial is moving, not going much deeper, I feel the narrative is crisp, and yes I feel the makers can do without much of nitya's story, this is my opinion 😊
