Hi sunshine! Happy Father's Day to you!
Nice post exploring the father son and father daughter relationships between various characters in the show...and lovely collages by Shwets! 👍🏼

Today, when I was searching for an image on Father's Day to post on my thread...I came across an article written by a couple who have decided not to have kids...and join the exclusive club of people with no kids...The article was very heart touching...The man was really scared that he would not be a good father...he just wasn't perfect enough...and that got me thinking...

What is a good father? What is a perfect father?

Was Dilsher a good father? He provided Rudra a home, someone to call his own...but he didn't provide him any emotional comfort, he ridiculed him for his moms actions...he taunted him...about him finding his mother...He fed him poison and brainwashed him about beautiful women...yet...we know he regrets his actions now and is trying to make it right...
He is trying his best,...

Is Danveer a good father? He has never protected his own kids from being ridiculed by their own mother...for not being good enough...but he has loved them, provided them a stable home...

The truth is that there are no perfect fathers and no perfect mothers...we all do what we are capable of at any given time...given our own situation and circumstances...our own emotional beings...

The love of perfect only makes us a less tolerant society...and some of us scared to even try...

If only parenthood came with a manual then we could define them as perfect father and perfect mother I guess. Like every person is different every step in parenting is different with only one thing in common. Most of the parents want their kids to be the best in world, save them from the worst in the world, give them the best possible things in world yet want them to be the most independent in the world😃
( The last one is debatable though and if they do not teach them to be independent then God save those kids)

wonderful post Tennessean - especially on father's day🤗
Indeed fathers are human too and they have their flaws - at the Moment - Dilsher is trying to right his wrongs with respect to Rudra, and of course he has always been close to Paro and been a father-like figure for her! I think he was sold once she made those rotis when she was still handcuffed!

Danveer - has tried to lead by example - his wife is definitely a stronger personality than he is and clearly she does not listen to him - but he tries to show his kids the way and Samrat and Sunehri seem to have followed him - I wouldn't say he is totally weak - he did stand up to Sumer and threw him out

Looking forward to the day Major Saab is a father too!!

Hi Neet- Thank you so much. 😊

Loved the highlighted part.😊

Dilsher has always been nice to Paro no matter what the situation was and thanks for reminding us about the Roti incident. 😊 May be Disher did get sold on that.😆

Danveer- He is very mild mannered and Samrat and Sunehri have taken over him and he did throw out Sumer. However, KCM is a counterpuncher and that is what the problem is. KCM used Mala as the trump card and brought Sumer back in.😊

What a day would that be when Major becomes a Dad.😛
