Why people have so much high expectations from Bang Bang?

Knight and Day wasn't a good movie. Against a budget of 117 million the film only managed 76million domestically. This is pretty bad for a tom cruise film given what a bankable star he is.

Remakes in bollywood of hollywood have more flops than hits.

Hritik's kites proved that word of mouth can destroy his films. It is very much possible for bang bang to end up in biggest disappointment. Lets say Kick is bad, but Kick will get such a big opening that Eid will cover everything up. Moreover the movie has a solid buzz, possibly the best after PK for the year.

Bang Bang got no festival opening. Its going to compete with Haider. Hritik and Katrina pair is no new. Siddhart annand is not that big of a director. Just salaam namaste was a hit, rest of his movies were pretty bad.

The movie cost is huge. Even someone news reports says it will end up to be more expensive than Dhoom.

I think this is one of the most risky Hritik Roshan project.

Four day opening weekend with two major holidays

Hrithik-Katrina pairing

And if they have good songs film will open huge regardless of anything

Lets see katrina is known for giving hit. Her only movie in 2014. Hrithik is shattering box office when ever he comes with agnepath , with krishh 3. His only movie in 2014. Dhoom 3 word of mouth was not that good . Actually on the day of releses I remember soumadeep a journo on tweeter was saying such a big movie relesed and there is no buzz on twitter. So a girl replied coz everybody is busy watching the movie in theater than tweeting on social networking sites. I have a feeling same is going to hapoen with bang bang coz I have watched katrina and hrithik fans . They go and watch the movies than wasting there time on social networking sites. Kites dint do well coz nobody was intrested in that movie same with anjana anjani.

I don't think even adi chopra can tell you why Dhoom 3 went on to become biggest grosser ever.

If I remember correctly everybody were waiting for Kites. Hritik and barbara's relationship became a big talk of the town and gave huge cheap publicity to the film. Yes Anjana Anjani no one cared.

its 2nd OCt and its is a holiday

hrithik and katrina coming after their respective blocbusters

so there are expectations simple as that

Thats 5 national holiday without a break. Its the best release date this year.

Bakri Eid and Vijya Dashmi aren't national holidays in India..

but still christmas is the best date

other holidays other than 2nd oct isnt that big

even diwali got 3-4 holidays
