MUHURTHAM: 4-8 JUN (COMMENTS WELCOMED)

June 4 (Mon):

Ethiraj is in his house sitting alone and thinking when his daughters Shallu and Mallu come there. Ethiraj is surprised to see them and ask if they have had their meals. The girls say no and they ask him why Gopi has been arrested. They also say they heard that Gopi was arrested for smuggling. They go on questioning Etiraj as to what his business is and if what people say is true. Ethiraj tell them not to believe what others say and tell them to go in. Ramaiah comes there and tells him that it was Solochana who had complaint about them to the police. Etiraj gets furious and goes with Ethiraj to teah Sulo a lesson.

Jeeva and Srithar are talking about the incidents at her in-laws place. She tells Srithar not to be hasty but to be patient. Rukku who is there by accident sees them talking and decides to teach Jeeva a lesson. Srithar, after assuring Jeeva that he will be careful leaves.

Sulo is on the phone with Saro who tells her that it was Devi who stopped Ethiraj from being caught by the police. Sulo tells Saro to be more careful and as she hears someone coming, cuts off the phone. an angry Ethiraj comes in and tries to strangle Sulo. Sulo is not afraid and asks Ethiraj if he is already scared of her that he wants to kill her. Saro challenges him to let her live and see her avenge her family's death. Ethiraj laughs at her and says that he is in a position to see her suffer and will make her commit suicide and leaves.

It is pay day. Srithar is in his room and asks Suja to bring coffee for him. suja comes there and tells usually he wants Rukku to bring coffee and why now he wants her to give him coffee. Srithar gets irritated and tells he to do as he says and goes downstairs where the entire family is gathered. Rukku is holding some envelopes (pay checks from the others, obviously!). Kalyani is talking about buying a piece of land with seaview and asks what Srithar thinks about it. Srithar says he has o objection and gives his mom his paycheck. Kalyani is surprised and tells him to give it to Rukku as usual. Srithar refuses and says that his paycheck should be given only to mother or wife and asks if Kalyani will accept but she refuses saying that if he doesn't give it to Rukku then they don't want his pay. Srithar says it is okay and calls Suja and gives her the paycheck. Suja refuses at first but Srithar forces her to take. Nirmal asks his brother why he is behaving such and Srithar tells hiss off saying it is his personal matter and Nirmal has no right to interfere! Kalyani tells everyone it is because of Jeeva and tells Srithat that even now she can make a police complaint on Jeeva but refrains from doing so because she was her DIL. Rukku who is listening to this returns the envelops she had ti Nirmal and leaves. THODARUM.

June 5 (Tues):

Saro and Sulo meet Dhanraj and Saro's mum. Saro cries to her mom about Gopi being arrested. Mom scolds Saro saying it doesn't matter who got arrested as long as Ethiraj is affected. Sulo tells them about Ethiraj's visit to her and Dhanraj warns Sulo to be very careful. Dhanraj tells Saro to mete Gopi at the police station and talk to him. Saro agrees and leaves.

Rukku is at the mottai maadi alone and crying. Nirmal comes there and asks Rukku to come eat as everyone is waiting for her. Rukku refuses saying that Srithar will only insult her more. Nirmal tells Rukku it is only him and his parents waiting as Nirmal, Suja and Divya have already eaten. Nirmal then tells Rukku that he doesn't understand why Srithar and even Divya is behaving such and are against Rukku. Rukku tells him that it is Jeeva who is instigating Srithar as she saw both Jeeva and Srithar talking seriously the other day. She tells Nirmal that Jeeva meets their family members and poison their minds and is turning them against their family. Nirmal gets angry and tells Rukku he will meet Jeeva and put a stop to all this.

Saro goes to the police station and meets Gopi. She tells Gopi to tell the police about his father's activities and get himself released. Gopi gets angry and tells Saro that he will never do that and that he'd rather die and betray his father. Saro gets upset and leaves.

Nirmal goes to meet Jeeva and warns her about meeting 'his people'. Jeeva tells Nirmal that she still considers them to be her family and that she herself did not go out of her way to meet them but they came to meet her. She tells Nirmal about Rukku meeting her and also that he would not believe her. Nirmal agains shouts at Jeeva. Kalidas comes there and tells Jeeva to tell Nirmal the truth as the time has come for him to know it. Both Nirmal and Jeeva look at Kalidas. THODARUM.

June 6 (Wed):

Continue from yesterday. Kalidas tells Jeeva to spill the beans but Jeeva says no and tells Kalidass not to interfere in her private affairs. Kalidas gets upset and leaves. Nirmal tells them not to put up a drama and warns Jeeva not to try and breakup their relationship with Rukku and leaves.

Ethiraj is in the house talking to Ramaiah about his anger on Sulo and that he feels like murdering her when the man Richard comes and falls at his feet. He says sorry for being the cause for Gopi's arrest (if he had not told them about the job, Gopi would not have don it and get caught!). Three men dressed in dark shades and in black come there demanding the diamonds and threaten Ethiraj. One of the men, Arjun gives Ethiraj 2 days to get back their diamonds or face the consequences and leave dragging Richard with them.

Kalidass is on the mottai maadi and Aparna calls him for dinner but Kalidass refuses to eat. She then goes to Jeeva and she too refuses to eat. Aparna tells Jeeva that Kalidass refused to eat and now Jeeva is doing the same. Jeeva goes up to see Kalidas and apologizes for being rude to him. They talk some more about the problem in Jeeva's in-law's house.

Nirmal and Rukku are in the living. Srithar comes down ready to go to work, and Rukku signals Nirmal to talk to him. Divya too comes down and asks Srithar to give her a ride to college. Nirmal stops Srithar and says he wants to talk to him and Srithar gives him the go ahead. Nirmal questions about his behavior toward Rukku and their father. He also tells him why he is meeting Jeeva when he himself had thrown her out. Srithar says she is his SIL and a person who cares about them. Nirmal says that Jeeva is trying to get Rukku out and take out the managing of the family. Srithar gets angry and tells that his SIL is not like that but it is Rukku who is selfish and who doesn't care about them. Nirmal gets more angry and slaps Srithar. Srithar tells Nirmal that when he finds the truth about Rukku he himself will throw her out and turns to Rukku and says, the time may be good for her now will it will not be long for everyone to know the truth about her and leaves.

Ethiraj with his attorney goes to the police station and meet Kalidas and tells him to release Gopi and the rturn the diamonds to them. The attorney tells Kalidass that they are willing to pay the price. Kalidass gets angry and refuse to do so. Ethiraj then calls up a Minister and muted dialog. The phone rings (Ethiraj and his men smile at Kalidass) and the Minister tells Kalidass to do a Ethiraj says. Kalidass tries to talk to the minister but in vain. The minister just tells him to release Gopi and the diamonds to Ethiraj and Kalidass says okay. THODARUM.

June 7 (Thurs):

Ganapathy sitting in the mottai maadi. Kalyani goes there and they talk about Srithar and Nirmal. Kalyani asks why Srithar is treating both Rukku and Ganapathy with disrespect and wonders how long it would take him to do the same to her. Ganapathy tells Kalyani that Srithar loves her too much and will not disrespect hsi mother.

Gopi is released and comes home. Saro takes aarti but is push away by an angry Gopi. Ethiraj wants Gopi to forget and move forward. Gopi finds out that it was Saro who was responsible for him getting arrested and wants to teach her a lesson.

Srithar tells Sujatha to pack their thing as he wants them to move out. Suja wants to know the reason but Srithar tells her if she is not willing she can stay but he will leave no matter what. Suja is happy and informs her dad. Both Srithar and suja come down with a suitcase. Everyone wants to know where they are going. Srithar tells them they are moving out and eeryone is shocked. Nirmal says sorry and everyone tells him not to go but Srithar is stubborn and after telling Divya to concentrate on her studies walk out with Suja. Rukku tries her best to stop them but is unable to. Suja's father comes there and takes then to his house. athodarum.
