Hello,

I don't post here too often, but this news update happened about an hour ago on the website of The Hindu and it only seemed relevant to post it here. It seems like child marriage has a vice-like grip that isn't about to loosen anytime soon.

About the show itself, maybe it's time to return to these issues and find more ways to deal with them.

True the collector and social worker who worked towards putting an end to social ills should be returning to this.

Yes, the writers may feel that they have said enough on this subject, but this is still an issue. Maybe they feel they've arrived at a creative dead end with respect to child marriage. But then there are other issues. I stopped watching the show a while ago, so cannot say much about current tracks. But BV was and should remain above kitchen politics.

They have addressed it enough. The show is stretching for the heck of it.

Real heinous side of child marriage will and can never be shown in TV anyway, girls as young as pre leap Anandi become pregnant. Whatever they could show, they have already shown.

They should have ended the show, right when Anandi had become Sarpanch of Jeitsar.,

Gauri should not have been an evil, scheming lady, but a good life partner for Jagdish.

Anandi after getting deserted by her Balak Var , should have been shown making a mark for herself, to prove all is not lost...only a childhood bond which is tied at such tender age, that cannot wither the travails of a marriage is lost.

That should have been the conclusion in true sense.

But then, the CV's are clever..

They have added - one more tagline to the title , right at the beginning - Kache Umar ke Pakke Rishte 😆

So, the Rishte of those Kacha times have become so strong, that they are not going to leave us so soon...😆

So, audience like it or not, Anandi's and Jagdish's / Singh's lives are interwoven and are in separable.

For 6 long years, this has been their only theme - and will be for the rest of the period, they want to continue.

So, its up to the audience, if they want to be the part of it or NO...

Creatives have never shown their own show against child marriage I mean for lead couple cvs are against child marriage or in favor of it 😛For what i have gathered kachi umer k pake rishte are really very very pake and if you desert them you will regret Child marriage connects lives like this that you cannot really survive without your Kachi umer k pake rishte 😆Balika Vadhu to be honest gives such a confusing message against child marriage that you are confused whether it is against child marriage or favors it ?

Since they always wanted JaAn relationship to end on a good note They shouldn't have made Jagya do all those mistakes They could have shown him and Anandi ending their relationship on a decent note and Anandi going back to her family and restarting her life again from where she was married off as a child What her lifewould have been if she wouldn't have got married as a child Meanwhile Gauri could be good partner to Jagya and Singhs should have realized their mistakes and accepted their son's choice

Creatives instead of focussing on ills of child marriage and it is bad custom focussed more how strong are kachi umer k pake rishte

Anyways i think the show should end now It is already proved long before they introduce good ideas but cannot handle them Its as usual left on actors to make tracks bearable to watch for viewers They can restart the show with a new story on ill effects of child marriage if they want

BV failed to show a lot of bad consequences of child marriages, but now it looks too late to again show same thing (stopping child marriages) over and over.
