The world saw in surprise how beautifully the amazingly brilliant dancer Shakti Mohan performed at the premiere night of the seventh season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (BBC Worldwide Media) on Colors.
Exhilarating on her performance, Tellychakkar.com decided to speak to Shakti's close friend and co-star Kunwar Amar who started his journey along with the girl in a dance reality show. Today they play a couple on Channel V'sDil Dostii Dance and are currently the youth icons among viewers.
Stating his pleasure at the performance, Kunwar stated, "She was amazing on the stage and I think we all had expected her to perform on that scale. Shakti has again proved how well she can dance and not just her moves but her costumes and presentation was also just wonderful."
When asked whether he feels that Tushar (Kalia) will do justice to Shakti as a choreographer, the dancer turned actor stated, "For sure as Tushar himself is a trained dancer and I have known him for quite long. He is an amazing dancer and a better choreographer and he will be a great support for Shakti. I think together they make a great combination of choreographer and artiste."
And finally when we asked whether Kunwar gave her any tips, he smiled and answered, "Shakti showed me the video of the performance before the shoot and I gave her my honest opinion. It was a beautiful concept and I just gave some tidbits on how to better some aspects. The little suggestions that I gave her was more as a friend who wanted his friend to give an amazing performance and rock the stage which Shakti completely did. I am so looking forward to more of her acts and rooting for her win."
That's what we call a true friendship!
