yeah it said women should not work or be independent , but revolve the life around her hubby , her ability and talent was to make his life and surrounding better 😡

Nice Post... Paro is trying to be much more than just a wife to Rudra...

I actually love this saying... I agree some people misuse this saying in many ways and see it as a guide of how a wife has to be... But I feel it is written not as to give the definition of a perfect wife to the world... but rather to show everyone that a women is capable of so much... This saying explains, how important a women is in a man's life... How many roles she plays in his life to make it wonderful.. That is the beauty of a women...

To love is easy. To blindly support your loved ones very easy... But to stand up for your love, to show your love the right way, to make him/her understand that they are wrong is very, very difficult... I agree Rudra is not wrong here but him whether we agree or not, he is still hurt, in pain and loves his mother... Even though he says he hates her.. His misses her even to this day...

Now that Paro knows that both the son and mother always loved and missed eachother.. trying to get them together is not a wrong thing to do. Paro is not going against Rudra... She is just trying to show him a way out of his pain... To make him understand that she is with him by explaining her side.
I don't understand why every single word she said is being dissected... Also why only a specific word or sentence in the whole conversation is picked and misunderstood... When you are talking in a context the whole conversation should be taken into account. Not a part of it..Sorry.. I have no intention of hurting anyone...Just my opinion. Will stop here... 😃

hey minuu
actually isnt that the case , not just paro , everything a wife does kind of gets dissected ,like she is from some other planet , she is not meant to make mistakes .that i have a issue with manu sastra ,
goes without doubt what a woman is capable of is beyond words beautiful , but this one limits her to making her husbands world beautiful in manu sastra , that why my response

PS i havnt watched the episode yet

I agree with each and every word u have written, and impressed by ur POV , we sometimes jump into conclusions very easily and never think that there another side of a coin does exists , ppl misunderstanding paro , ppl misunderstanding rudra is a common thing these days but what we dnt understand is their situation , never ask ourselves that we what could have been our reaction if we were in that situation . am glad that u commented on this post and contributed in this discussion ,i know u didnt intend to hurt anyone ur comment is very decent and logical 🤗

no offense to you TM , i understand you wanted to describe the different roles played by a wife , that i quite agree , a wife plays more than one role in a man's life
unfortunately the extract talks of being all that ,the expectation from a woman , this was a definition for a wife , she had to be all that a dasi a ramba a matri ...else she is not a good wife...
