Manoj gets my breakfast in bed: Raavee
Raavee Gupta-Biddvai is facing an unusual predicament after her marriage to actor Manoj Biddvai. Rumours suggest that Raavee is no longer open to new assignments—a fact that the distraught actor says couldn't be farther from the truth! "People have assumed that with a husband and a home on hands, I'd not be keen to work. But it's the contrary. I'm looking forward to experimenting with a lot of genres and characters," exults the actor who wants to do a comedy!
Playing Keksi
"I know comedy doesn't go with my kind of image but then neither did the role of Keksi, which I'm essaying in 'Raavan' (Zee) right now! I love doing something that the audience does not expect me to do. Playing Keksi was a challenge because I had to essay the journey of a woman from 16 to 50. I played a mother when I am not one in real life. In fact, I'm very scared of children, especially the little ones!" laughs the actor.
Marriage magic
Raavee says that marriage has made her so secure and confident that she has been recommending it to everyone. "I feel super-confident. Earlier I used to be hyper. Today, I'm a complete person and a very content one too," she says. Adding that she is fortunate to have a husband like Manoj who is 'hands-on, helpful and chilled out', she reveals, "He even gets me my breakfast in bed!"
Dating duo
At the moment the couple have no plans to start a family. "I have never been in a steady relationship before. So, I have never done things like dating and speaking for hours on the phone before Manoj came on the scene. Even now, we are still in the dating-phase and plan to do a lot of things together—like travelling or joining courses—till we start of a family," she asserts.
