Zhoom Barabar Zhoom
Jhoom Barabar Jhoom is Yashraj films' second movie this year which brings together Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan together again after Kabhie Alvida Naa Kehna.
This is Abhishek's first film after his wedding and also has him paired with Preity Zinta for the first time.
The film also stars Bobby Deol and Lara Dutta.
The film's story revolves around two couples who seem to be perfectly in love until one day when their lives take a U-turn. Preity Zinta plays Alvira Khan who's engaged to Brit NRI Steve Singh
Abhishek Bachchan plays Rikki Thukral, a rich Indian Prince, who's happliy engaged to Anaida Raza(Lara Dutta).
Jhoom Barabar Jhoom is Shaad Ali's third film after the superhits Saathiya and Bunty aur Babli
The film also brings together the inimitable combo of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Gulzaar, who had also composed the superhit music of Saathiya and Bunty aur Babli.
The music of the film, which was released recently, has been received well and the number Jhoom Barabar Jhoom has already entered the music charts.
The film also brings together Bobby Deol and Abhishek Bachchan for the first time. Interestingly, Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra were also paired together in the 1970s cult film Sholay.
2007 has been a lucky year for Abhishek. If his Guru surpassed all box-office records in January, in April he was married to lady-love Aishwarya Rai. Will Jhoom Barabar Jhoom be Abhishek's second hit this year? We'll probably wait and watch!
