India's colossal entertainment channel Sahara One, which is fluttering to get popularity amongst the movie fanatics rapidly due to its rich contents and exclusive stuff to offer, has reiterated its mission to bring its viewers only the biggest and best this time around endowing the viewers with the world TV premiers of several Bollywood movies including the blockbusters of the year. The first film to hit the Sahara One's TV screen is this year's first mega success Page 3 (the date of telecast is yet to be announced on the channel). This Sahara One Motion Pictures' production directed by Madhur Bhandarkar is a critically acclaimed flick that earned the National Award for the Best Film of this year plus two more National Awards for the Best Screenplay and Best Editing respectively. Another movie, which will have its World TV premiere on the channel is Sahara One Motion Pictures' production and director Shayam Benegal's dramatic-incomparable tribute, Neetaji Subhash Chandra Bose - The Forgotton Hero (the film that won two National Awards this year - the National Awards for Best Film on National Integration and for Best Art Direction). Others include the biggest hit of the year, Bewafaa (that is also Sahara One Motion Pictures' production in association with Boney Kapoor) and Sahara One Motion Pictures' and Ram Gopal Verma's production, Sarkar, the movie that gets the eyes glued on the screen and has the people watch it over and over again due to the marvelous performances by the leading stars such as legendary Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. Mumbai Express (a Sahara One Motion Pictures' production), Jo Bole So Nihaal and some others will also be shown at this juncture of Sahara One Television.

It will be recalled that Sahara One Television has been on an upswing thanks to steadily growing ratings and some exciting program launches recently. In the week ending 3rd September 2005, the channel had claimed the Number 2 position amongst the GECs in the 9 -9.30 pm slot on keekdays (Mon-Thurs) thanks to its flagship drama 'Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki', which delivered a high of 3.4 TVRs. Also, earlier this month, on the 5th of September, Sahara One Television launched its mega thriller, the daily Kohinoor, to air Mondays to Thursdays at 10 pm. Kohinoor comes on the heels of the success of the popular daily afternoon drama 'Hare Kaanch Ki Choodiyan'.
