She very well can make it to no 1.
She not only has the backing reqd in bollywood but she has ambition. She is also very comfortable in her own skin, which is a big reqmt for being willing to take risks. In that way, she reminds me of Ranbir.

Actress success isn't solely based on hit/flop status. Else Asin/Sonakshi would have been at the top already and Kareena wouldn't have reached that position. Also because heroines doesn't have the crowd pulling power of heroes. No top heroine can deliver 16 cr opening with a newbie like Sallu did with Daisy. There are other important factors. Kareena reached top with JWM which wasn't a blockbuster or anything. A flop film like Highway can take Alia to a higher position with in the industry than a Rowdy Rathore for Sonakshi. That's why she's keen to do more movies like Lootera now and find a balance.

Lol, one question: how are Parineeti and Shraddha are any better than Alia? Parineeti can act, but whose going to go see her playing the same loud, bubbly girl in her next 10 movies?! Shraddha can't act. And she is definitely 25+.

And with 3 films old her success ratio is more than 66% which is very great for a new comer like her..

If she continues to choose her movies carefully then no one can stop her from being on top 1...

I am sure she will be! Actually it will be a shame if she doesn't with all that backing & I think she's a decent actress with potential. But then she is one of the Bhatts who can be quite fickle with their career.

Too bad the opinion on this forum about Alia (how terrible or not so terrible she is) does not get translated into reality. 😎

Two states seems to have done well for her. With Kjo and her father on her side she can't go wrong with her script choices or her roles. Forget BO she is even decent and tried to improve at acting something most actresses are terrible at and consistently suck at! 😆
