At least not by Raja.

Because there is no EXCUSE FOR RAPE. It was by choice that Raja got intoxicated. I will go to the extent that Bhanu is not responsible for Raja,s act. This is a love story and one simply whatever the EXCUSE CANNOT FALL IN LOVE WITH A RAPIST.

Therefore there are two scenarios

1. Raja passed out and Rani is going to charge him with rape. She still has right to be completely upset because she was HELPLESS and rape is nothing but a show of power. However, a false charge is completely WRONG too. This is a situation where I do side with Madhu, because nothing a woman does or says invites rape. I think when Raja is devastated she will withdraw her charges.

2. Bhanu has raped her. This will totally kill RAJA, but Madhu cannot forgive him in this situation. Her husband in the state of intoxication made it easy for the perpetrator to enter the room and commit the crime.

I so wish for situation 1.

If Raja has committed the crime I cannot accept a woman falling in love with her rapist. Therefore I am convinced that Raja has not committed the crime.

Rape being such a serious issue, I am not sure how CV,s will manage to show a love story.

Hats off to DVD for their acting. In no way I am saying the scene was easy to watch, but they still made us very uncomfortable with a convincing act.

i agree there should be no excuses rape is rape whether raja was drunk or not drugged or not

so to prove raja innocent and preserve his image inside your head you want baby bala to be molested by raja and have him passed out on the bed and then have bhanu jeejaji come and rape her

so you want rishbala's daughter to be violated by two men

I will not blame you for the response but say my thought process was not communicated well.

Let me explain again.

Case 1 I did say I will not blame Madhu - she was violated by raja whether he committed the crime or not. He is responsible for the perpetrator entering the room. I do not even blame Bhanu for this. Crime committed or not madhu is violated.

I said I cannot accept the situation where one can fall in love with a rapist.

My thought is this therefore - for the cvs to show a love story they only have two scenarios left.

I am not making him innocent, I am saying for the cvs to make it a love story in anyway remotely now they cannot show he committed the rape. Because one CANNOT fall in love with rapist.

Even the act was not committed I do not absolve him of the act and am wondering how the cvs will make the story go forward.

I am now thinking the post should not have been made by me. If two people think I am absolving him of the crime, I have sent out a wrong message.

There can not be a love story else it would show the romanticism of rape ... If baby baby is violated He needs to be punished, they can't show a love story if she as u suggested has only been molested and she calls it rape Infront of the world then it shows that those Indian senators that say boys will be boys and they make mistakes and girls falsely accuse guys of rape will be true. But from what I seen I think he raped her

The CVs closed all doors to a love story after today. In both scenarios you have cited Madhu has been victimized either directly or indirectly by Raja. If he has raped her love story is out of question. If Bhanu is the culprit, somewhere Raja is responsible for getting her in that situation. IMO CVs have gone down a path of no return. I sincerely hope they do not further dig their own grave by showing your 3 rd scenario where Madhu falsely accuses Raja. This sends across a wrong signal to society that a woman would stoop down to this level to teach a guy a lesson and belittles the agony of those women who have gone through this horrible experience I have no idea why the CVs chose this track ...this show is not a social drama. Such issues need to be shown sensitively and are a total misfit in love stories.

Bravo! Excellent post. Rape is such a sensitive topic especially for India it should never be taken lightly even if it is fiction. Life imitates art and it also influences young mind. We can't have the hero of a famed show rape his wife and then show romance between them. It would be in bad taste and that is putting it kindly. I am extremely disappointed in AS and his team for taking such a decision and turning Raja into a rapist.
