I agree... i think he did that scene well and looked good too.

Yes that was funny😆. Reminds me of "Ja ko rakhe Sai yan maar sakhe na koi!

😆 😆 😆 😆

Alekh is true supporter of Naina and is always there for her. No ques asked.Actually he is loyal cant say the same abt Naina.

I dont know... i still have to figure out Naina... i dont think she is disloyal, just thoughtless... and thats natural considering her age and situation in life.

ahem the Egyptian codes🤣. Please scriptwriters watch Discovey or History channel for some credibility and say inspiration😉.😆

Exactly: thoda sa credibility dhoond lao 😛.

Yes it was a scathing remark"Sau Khoon maaf" on Capt Rajveer for killing Naveen or snatching Nandini or someother grudge. But he said it in perfect voice, with ease and no over bearing expressions.

Hoping to see some sensible story and perfomances

Ya i know... even i thought it was done without an over the top quality... restrained again... he's doing a good job with the subtlety.

Here's to sharing that hope!!

So today i can return to Gaurav, my second true love... third actually.... since Pacino is always around and i'm sure is going to steal the show in ocean's 13!!( I am glad you can count your true lovessssss on finger.... sometimes they are countless....😛)

Chalo i'll stop being e news and get down to the topic in hand... ( Thank you so much)

Shvetal... After reading your analysis I realize that I have forwarded some important scenes... but will comment on this one... This was not tbe missed for sure...

Incidentally, the 'mere pair jawab de gaye hai'... 'toh aur sawaal puchiye unse' was really a bad joke... but bilkul mere type ka joke tha... i love such stupid jokes and i know you do too Teena so admit it 😉 😆... O Shvetal...I admit... I admit... I actually smiled at this joke... and he said.." Bad joke"... and I kept on thinking whether I should have smiled or not....😉... Was it that bad...?😛

When Abhimanyu said 'shayad isiliye', i thought he would say then 'shaayad isiliye naveen asked rajeev to kill him'... True... I also felt exactly same...I am also slightly confused about his intentions... Whether he understands Rajveer's state of mind.. when he shot Naveen.. or he wants to get him hanged... Its not getting clear....I also want this to be clear and show to get on one track instead of dragging in all possible random directions... I am interested in watching this...but I wont wait endlessly...😉i cannot figure out what the guy's attitude to his best friend's death is... is he ok with Rajeev being the killer? is he not? this is the part that i'm most interested in watching over the coming few weeks... if they do this badly, i'll disown the show completely.

And now the much maligned last scene 'meri aankhon mein dekhiye' scene... I've heard people berate it for being too romantic and on the other side of the fence, for not being romantic enough or intense enough... well i do not think it was a romantic moment... there is so much more to human relationships than just friendship or romance and this scene was one such tender moment... it was a moment when Abhimanyu opened his heart to Naina... tried to make her see the world the way he sees it.... she was upset and also slightly hysterical... but it wasnt simply calming her down... it was that and at the same time letting her inside his world... a bridge has definitely been crossed, she has moved beyond being only Naveen's sister... she's definitely got more insight into Abhimanyu, as have we, the audience. As for it not being very romantic or intense, (and Teena i know you feel that way), i dont think it was meant to be very intense... as i wrote yesterday in a different post, we all (including Abhimanyu) can have Samay like, larger than life moments... but we cannot live at that pitch of intensity forever... Abhimanyu is less intense, though no less ernest... and this was not even a larger than life moment in his life... but you know i feel that it is moments like these when we truly reach out to one another, when we let other people come closer to us... it is as much in such small moments that life long relationships, and not necessarily only romantic ones, are built as in the big, declaratory moments. For this scene, I feel that it should have been little more friendly than trying to make it an intense moment to remember.... As she was getting slightly hysterical... and he wantd to clam her down... I think dialogue writer should have chosen some different lines...Those lines were not at all suitable for that moment... who says.." Meri aankhon mein dekhiye..'" to calm down a friend..Or Is she more than friend or colleague? True, we reach out to people and connect through such moments...but that reassurance and consoling can be done in a better way... But Gaurav said those lines as he sould have said them... not overdone ,nor underplayed....😊... Agar koi aur kehta... toh main bhaag jaati yahan se...😉

Chalo will give this thesis a rest here now. Ya have one more episode to go but will try and add a shorter post to this same topic.

Again, personal preference... i like those scenes more where Gaurav keeps his voice low... i like those scenes less where he has to scream or go on a hectoring spree... i've always liked scenes where he's gone silent, low or calm in the middle of an emotional scene..I also love those scenes where he keeps his pitch low or keeps mum... uses body language or expressions... but shhhhhhh.. there is somebody (very dear to me) at my place who loves when he shouts.... So I dun mind if Gaurav keeps on shouting all the time...😃.......examples from adhm rush to mind but i'll control my digressions 😊... which may also be why i liked the sunset scene... because the tone of his voice was low throughout... and i like the reassurance he brings to her, saying we will solve our problems ourselves.
I find the Aalekh Naina equation very interesting... what has happened there?... clearly, Naina is a great role... she has well-charted relationships with almost everyone... which came out in the scene in which she was crying... all of them felt for her... and two of them tried to console her... to inspire that kind of loyalty is amazing.

I have also started liking Naina... She is an interesting character and she is doing well... When she was crying... and then she hugged Abhimanyu... she did well... On the other hand I felt... on Abhimanyu's part... was this hug reuired to be that close... No I dun think so.... He was just consoling her...I think this hug had to be very similar to that hug with Rusty when her mother died and she hugged Samay unknowingly....😊... Or Is Naina more than a friend/colleague to ABhimanyu....Lets see...😉

Unless you have watched the season 1 , you will never understand the relationship between Raj and Naina.

Abhi is like " urre eshe jurre basha " if you understand Bangla.

Teena yeh true love hai na isliye countable on fingers hai... if i start on a list of 'almost true loves' toh it will indeed be countless!

Shvetal... After reading your analysis I realize that I have forwarded some important scenes... but will comment on this one... This was not tbe missed for sure...

Teena forward kar kar ke episode dekhna chod do!! 😆 😆

Mujhe pata tha, mujhe pata tha.... i knew you were the one other person in the world who would find it funny... Teena you and i are made for each other, not Abhimanyu Naina or RN!!

I know... i just hope it develops before our time is up! 😉 😆

Teena i agree that the scene could have been written much better... but i still liked it because i liked what Gaurav was doing in it... found him very good so overlooked the other inconsistencies... after all, kuch toh true love ke liye farz banta hai!

Teena tum Gaurav ko joote khila ke rahogi! 😆 😆

Yes the hug seemed slightly forced, slightly awkward to me too... but this was definitely different from that Samay Rusty hug... wahan pe he wanted to console her but was already in love with her... also Samay was the 'i'm in charge kind of guy'... also, she misread that hug too as an attempt to take advantage of her vulnerability...

Here Naina was supposed to be distraught... part of the problem was that she didnt seem distraught enough... and i think it should have been more spontaneous than the way it actually came out.

Andand, thank you for the compliment.
Sunaina, i wish i had seen season 1 of lrl... but i havent... but then i do not comment on the RN jodi at all because i know that i do not know them well enough... my analyses are always idiosyncratic or erratic... they focus on Gaurav's scenes becuase he is the reason i watch the show. 😊
