Ganesh Chaturthi, amidst sorrow, Astha comes, celebrates the festival with family!!!
Astha leaves along with Kiran. Simran goes hysterical, pleads to Abhi to get her back. She screams, she cries, she begs asking Abhi to get her back. Abhi tries to console her, says it will be this love of ours which will bring her back. Do not worry. Simran again cries, she is gone. Abhi says we have to live on, we have to wait for the times to change. He then points to Sia who is already sobbing her heart out, he tells Simran to take care of her. He says we have to sort things for ourselves, we cannot stop like this bcos Astha is gone. Sia and Simran hug.
Astha is silent, crying. Kiran observes, asks what is the reason? Astha says papa must have felt bad, he was insulted so much before the police. Kiran says but they were wrong. They wanted to put a full stop to your career, you asked me to get you out of that place, believe me, i had no other option other than police. Astha says i am not blaming you, but i am missing papa. She cries. Kiran calls Heera, asks her to get 2 glasses and wine. Kiran scolds Heera, Astha says our Aayi is very nice. Kiran asks who? Astha says Shaguna, she was the one who brought me up. Kiran says oh That servant. Astha begins to cry. Kiran asks her not to cry, gives her a glass full of wine, asks her to drink. Astha drinks it. Kiran is happy.
Simran, Sia and Abhi are all sitting in the sofa, away from each other, like 3 poles. All are thinking about Astha. Shaguna looks at them, is also crying. Sia says everythnig was ok in your life mama. But when i came, you lost Astha. Astha is angry with me, she thinks i have taken her place. Abhi says there is nothing like that. Simran says she is angry with me, not with you. Sia says if we were together from childhood, my presence would not have been hurting for her. Abhi says its ok, i understand that jealousy creeps in sometimes. But to the extent of hating someone, no. Sia says i have been the reason for some misunderstanding. She hates me bcos i am your daughter. She also has ill feelings bcos of other issues. Abhi asks what? Sia says bcos of Sid. Sia says everything is clear ,but she doubts. Abhi and Simran are sad. Sia goes , sits between both, says i will go from here. If i go, she will come back. Simran is shocked, asks Abhi, what is wrong with these kids? Abhi is sad. Shaguna comes, says today is Ganesh Chaturthi, so please do not speak all this. Shaguna asks whether we are getting bappa home. Abhi asks Simran , do you bring bappa every year? Simran says yes, bcos it was Astha's wish. She wanted to bring bappa. Then Simran remembers the day when Astha as a kid, asks Simran to get bappa home, as all kids get. The flashback is shown. Simran tells the kiddo Astha that if we start, we have to bring it every year. We have to be very disciplined, there is a way in which we have to bring Bappa. The house has to be made sacred, the mandap has to be decorated, mama does not know all this. Astha says aayi knows everything. I will help Aayi every year, this is a promise. Simran hugs herlittle kid. Flashback ends. Simran is now crying. She says Astha's wish was granted, but the one who wanted to get Bappa home is not here. She tells my family looks incomplete, Abhi. She cries. Abhi says we will bring Bappa, do the puja. All get ready, we will do it. He tells Shaguna to do all the arrangements and asks Sia to help Shaguna. Sia says i will try to do a good job as Astha. I will surely make up for her. Though she is not here, we will do everything like she would have done. She then says Astha, you are not here, but your presence is felt every moment. You have to come back, she cries leaning on Shaguna.
Simran is in her room. She calls Astha's mobile. Somebody picks up. Simran thinks it is Astha at the other end, starts to talk. She says today is Ganesh Chaturthi. As you always bring Bappa, we have to do this year too. You have promised me. So you come home. But it is not Astha on the phone, it is Kiran. Simran pleads saying come home. Kiran is giggling. Simran says we cannot bring Bappa without you. This year is very special for us, bcos papa is there. I have my whole family with me. Please come. Kiran then speaks, Simran, you have been waiting for this moment, but i will see to it that your dreams do not come true. Simran is shocked to hear Kiran's voice. Kiran says Astha will not come. She cuts the phone, smiles. She says to herself, now my dreams will come true.
Simran is crying bitterly. Sia who is dressed up, comes , sees that Simran has not dressed. She goes to her, tells her not to think so much. She says get dressed. Simran keeps seeing her mobile and is crying. Sia asks what happened, takes the mobile and checks, gets to know that Simran has called Astha. Sia says she will not come if you call her. She has to come , we all know that. As we are missing her, i am sure she will also be missing the festival at home. Do ont worry, she will come today. Simran says no, i talked to Kiran, she will not come. Simran cries a lot. Sia is also upset.
Astha is in her room in deep thoughts. Just then, she hears noise in the road, she goes to the window to see. She sees Bappa's procession in the street. She gives a very cute smile, is drawn into old sweet memories, when Kiran comes. She sees Astha ,asks her what the matter is. Astha, lost in her world of past, says Ganesh was brought every year to our house too. I wanted it, so mama used to get Bappa avery year. We used to do the Stapan, i used to decorate the mandap, i and aayi used to make modak, give Bhog to Bappa, we used to get Bappa home by walk, carryin it. Kiran says if you are so interested, we have one Bappa stapan in our association, we will go there, come. But Astha does not hear what Kiran is telling ,she continues to say smilingly that nanu was always afraid of crowd, so he used to fear, used to fear gulaal too. Sid after he came from USA, celebrates the festival with us. She is smiling. Kiran is shocked to see Astha like this..
Abhi, Simran, Sia , Shaguna and many others are bringing Bappa home. Abhi si carrying Bappa in his hand. Simran is very sad. She goes into frequent flashbacks, when Astha as a small kid, used to bring Bappa home ,lifting it with her own hands with Simran's help. Then Simran remembers a grown up Astha lifting a bigger Bappa all by her own, Simran proudly looking at her. Simran then comes to the present, sees Abhi lifting the idol. She is sad. Bappa is brought home. The stapn is made. Full decoration are made. Sia , shankar are there. Simran now goes into flashback when she remembers a small Astha doing Arti. Then a grown up Astha very cutely doing Arti for Bappa. Then back to present. Shaguna offers the arti plate to Simran, asking her to do it. Simran cries, remembering Astha. Abhi says you should not cry today. But Simran just cannot stop her tears from flowing. Simran does the Arti , prays that Astha you are my Astha. Abhi does Arti, prays to God to she the right path to Astha. Sia does arti, so does Shankar, Shaguna, Sia. When Sia is doing, someone takes the arti plate from her. It is Astha. Sia is very happy. Abhi and Simran are closing their eyes inprayer, they do not notice Astha. Astha gives a very small smile, is doing the arti when Abhi opens his eyes, to see Astha right in front of him doing arti to Bappa. His face lightens up. Simran is still closing hereyes, Abhi touches her, Simran opens her eyes, sees Astha, is overjoyed. She is crying, tears of happiness for a change. Shaguna, Sia, Sid all are happy. Simran gives out a broad smile in the midst of her tears.
Monday: Kiran is scolding Heera for letting Astha go to her house. Astha is back in Kiran's house, Abhi and Simran come to take her. Kiran screams at them, that she will call the police again, she does not want this disturbance always. Abhi is very wild, he looks at Kiran with a stare, points to her, says i will finish you off....Astha is also there.
