I wanted Lauren and Salman pairing so badly at the beginning of the show last year. The same way I wanted a Punit and Shakti pairing this year.

Salman and Lauren will not be permanent fixtures. That is too good to be true. So I think they are just here to scare the contestants a bit or encourage them.
